  3. Dave, I cured the squeek on mine by placing cable ties around the rear springs suitably spaced and trimmed, no more squeeks. Expat
  4. Nick, I have a 89 Live axle with 400lb springs at the front, ok for track. but for road springs I suggest around 275/300lb front, I find 115lb ok for the rears on the live axle road use(no bottoming out).

    Alternatively fit tie raps around the coil of the spring at the points of contact = silence........ Expat

Ade, Likely cause of the clonk is the halfshaft moving through the inner race of the wheel bearing (this happened to my car), idea.gif Solutions-new halfshaft & bearing/pop down the breakers for used/shrink a sleeve behind the bearing race to stop movement or tack weld inner race to halfshaft. the choice is yours wink.gif good luck Expat
