I did the Cardboard Aided Design and the PLA 3D printing is an aditional step to make sure all the brackets fill fit. The final product will be in stainless or aluminium. If gluing the light is the correct one, the design of the headlight bracket is done. If not I will have to find a different solution. Jack

Thanks Stephen I've ordered a 3D printing of the bonnet bracket. The headloight bracket is giving more issue to draw.

The 3 triangular shape are design to be bonded to the bonnet The three rod a m5 threaded bar and are design to fit into the 3 flanges on the headlight bracket.

I am working out how to attach the headlights to the bonnet of my 21. So far, I have created a “bonnet” bracket and now I am working in creating a “headlight bracket. I'm using plastic body Wipac units which were supplied with plastic bowl and metal ring which attaches the headlight to the bowl. I also bought a different type of bracket; however, it uses the same type of ring for attaching the headlight unit. The bracket would be manufactured from stainless steel or aluminium, The headlight has a 5mm ledge. The surface of the bracket matching it would be approx. 15mm. I was thinking could this ledge be used to glue the headlight to the bracket using polyurethane adhesive or another type of adhesive (butyl, two-part Methacrylate,…) Jack

Hello All Since my rebuilt thne ignition warning light has not beern working. The engine ios a 1.8 VV and the alternator is working fine. Is there a wiring diragram available for me to check the wiring back to the light? thank you Jack

Hello All Could someone check my math? The high beam LED signal on the dash is too bright. It uses 40mA. If I'm correct, fitting a 320 Ohms resistor in series should drop the brightness by approx 50%? Jack

Last time i did it on my 21, there was approx 4-5 of us doing it over a Saturday. i borrowed an engine crane from someone. You could organize something like this if you can find an engine crane. Jack
