  1. I´m selling one of my two Swindon rollerbarrel-injection-kits. Very good condition, just revised by Spiess-Tuning, Germany. Asking price 2.600 Euros (ca. 1750 GBP) More details and pictures here. The ultimate injection system from the factory tuner Swindon.
  2. Cheers Davey, didn´t we meet at Curborough some years back ? You had that sticker on the back of your car "It´s never too late for a happy childhood" ?!? 😬
  3. I didn´t weigh the original propshaft but as Richard already stated the CF one is 2-point-something kilos and I guess the steel one is at least double the weight. My guess is 6 kilos, +/-, weight saving around 3-4 kilos.
  4. It´s made by CTG, website here I bought it from Joachim at MOG-Racing, here, he normaly has some on stock.
  5. The weight saving is impressive. Hard to find a cheaper way to get rid of 5 kilos that easy. Shame you can´t see it when fitted 😬
  6. One of my last years upgrades was a carbon fibre propshaft from CTG. Not sure about it´s strength before I can now confirm that I couldn´t manage to break it yet... Some racing, some track days, a few 0-60s, no sign of a ripped propshaft. My Cat has 280BHP (VX of course... 😬), 6 speed sequential box, running on Michelin slicks. Now that I couldn´t rip it apart yet it´s all down to it´s long term strenght probably. Hope it´s gonna last a few years now but until further experiences I can only vote for the CTG propshaft.
  7. MOG are just about to open the new carbon workshop they have lately added to their already impressive Caterham workshop. Basically they are going to make anything you ask them to do. A ful carbon fibre back-pack-top-case for a Lambo Gallardo Spyder is just about to be finished... 😬 (no joke !!!) I have some wings from MOG, the CF nose from Caterham. Personally I don´t like the black stripe on the sides of the MOG-wings but this is up to personal taste.
  8. Replace your clamshells NOW 😬 here
  9. Not sure but I think I´ve got an old type block with new low noise pulleys on. Probably worth asking Eric Pasture at Swindon, he should know.
  10. Nitron is a small company run by Guy Evans, top bloke Using his dampers since three years now, top stuff and very well manufactured. Met him yesterday at Zandvoort again. He´s just bought a yellow Superlight R.
  11. That´s because you never drive it, Steve... 😬

    Vx XE Verniers

Will probably only make sense if being fitted together with some hotter cams. Sense in terms of justifying the costs for proper verniers. I´ve seen a 10 BHP gain from verniers on a 2 litre Swindon JPE engine with roller barrels on. 240 instead of 230 plus slightly more torque in mid range.
  13. I still have "Plastic" rear wings, protected by CF wings protector. The CF still looks as new but the wing looks a bit hammered where there´s no CF protection. I´ve seen some MOG rearwings which take the gravel attacks very well with no signs of damage, not sure about the Caterham or RIF ones, haven´t seen them yet.
  14. Fading is no problem with the MOG ones. I have several original Caterham carbon parts and some MOG parts. The only ones which fade are the Caterham ones... My dashboard is already looking carbon yellow...
  15. Jeez Just thought we had an R888 power/weight Caterham in the club when reading the topic title...
