  1. I understand there may be one or two loitering here. Could you please drop me a line off list? Ta Guy NN 😳 Edited by - No Nuts on 9 Jul 2004 10:08:28
  2. No idea about engine damage at those pressures in itself but I certainly wouldn't want to be driving the car with those pressures. Guy NN 😳
  3. If you expect to be back early, give me a tinkle. It takes me about 1.5 hours to get to Mark's Guy NN 😳
  4. Ah yes, they will. Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you already had a vdo sender but with a Cat guage which is why readings were strange. Must read posts properly! Oh well! Guy NN 😳 Edited by - No Nuts on 5 Jul 2004 08:36:35
  5. Aaaargh, going to have to pass on this, unless I find a job! Guy NN 😳
  6. Nifty, I have a (well, a couple of) spare temp senders - they also expire on a regular basis I find! I can run one up tomorrow for you to have. Replace at your leisure! Guy NN 😳
  7. You can, with a bit of juggling, and removing the pipe to the cam cover, thread the alternator belt over the oil pipes and the apollo without having to undo any of the major oil plumbing. It's a bit like doing one of those Xmas cracker puzzles! I'm planning to pop up to the Cornwallis tomorrow. Are you going to be at Mark's? If so, until what time as I can always pop along a bit early loik! You can then have a gander at mine if it helps. Guy NN 😳
  8. Nifty I get 4/5 bar cold at idle / up to 4K rpm and 2 / 4 bar when warm (60 - 80C on the standard guage) at idle / up to 7.2K rpm I'd expect you to be seeing more than 1 / 3. It may be worth trying another pressure sensor - I find I have to change mine on pretty much an annual basis (every 12 - 15 K miles) Guy NN 😳
  9. Oh well Peter, in that case: Guy NN 😳

    Sprint classes...

I'm getting serious withdrawal symptoms chaps so may just try to get an entry in for Curborough 2. Not at MIRA as I'm off on holiday. Not quite sure what to do as I'm not taking the 7! Still, hopefully it'll be a relaxing time. 😬 Guy NN 😳
  11. Myles - that's my pile of junk! Alex just set his scope up next to it. I took some kites along too (hence the big pile of stuff). Kind of a thing I have about flying them during solar events! And I wasn't going to leave any of it unattended in the 7 in the car park! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  12. Oi Shedders: see here. I'll hopefully be going, dunno if anyone else fancies it? Guy NN 😳

    Well thats torn it

Aaaaarrrrggghhhh! Get well soon Chris! Guy NN 😳
  14. 😬 What more can I say? I don't think there's commentary at MIRA. I wasn't planning on being there. ☹️ But good luck all! Paul, ISTR I actually gabbled on about aeroscreens and windscreens and things at one stage when you were whizzing around. Muppet (like it!) actually it wasn't you who came to mind when thinking about lairy driving, although you did seem to be struggling a bit. Looked like you'd got to the "sod it, I'm keeping my foot in anyway 'cos the time's going to be horrible anyway" stage. Well, as soon as someone starts paying me some money, I hope to get sprinting again. Oh dear, I can see a long unemployment conspiracy ahead 😬 😳 Guy NN 😳
  15. As I've said somewhere else, what was really interesting on Saturday was seeing, for my first time, how everybody else in the class drives the course. Mentioning no names but I really hope I don't look quite that scary! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  16. You need to use the pedal on the right Graham! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  17. Just want to add my thanks to all too, Barbara, Roger, BB and also you competitors! (Sorry for the delay but I've not really had a chance to sit down since Saturday. Feels good now though!) 'twas a fantastic day and was most fascinating to see a lot of my class 2 rivals (hopefully they will be again later in the year, if not, then next!) driving their cars as I've never been able to before! Congrats to all who achieved good times. Comiserations to those who broke bits, hopefully see you back on track soon! 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 Guy NN 😳
  18. Franky, do it! Huuuuuuuuge fun! Ask any questions you like here, you'll get loads of helpful replies! Brian, congrats on the impending promotion! Guy NN 😳
  19. I like Iggy Pop 😬 Guy NN 😳

Now that's really not something to be proud of! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  21. Mav, gonna miss you guys! FH, gonna miss you guys too! Ooooh, good luck Mr C! See everyone else there! Guy NN 😳
  22. I'm up for that. Anywhere north is good by me. Hoops could but us all up too! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  23. Awww FH, gwan, we'll look after you! Guy NN 😳
  24. It's worrying actually. I imagine his lack of access to wibbleyness to be a bit like a cork holding it all in. Heaven only knows what it's going to be like when that cork pops out! FH - you know what I mean, I'm thinking of the joke about the Elephant, three scientists and the monkey! *eek* *eek* NN 😳
  25. It's a bit soggy over this way ☹️ Maybe I should do some house work before the qualifying starts. 😳 I'm certainly not going to mow the lawn! Guy NN 😳
