Apologies when I know this will be covered elsewhere further down the list but we're living on dialup until broadband is re-connected following the move and the better half is waiting to use the phone... So 1. if I were interested, am I too late? if not... 2. what's the craic with these t-shirts? Like what do they look like, with whom do I register my interest / requirements should I deem one suitable for my wardrobe... 3. please could you please link me to the relevant thread(s). Ta everso you lovely peeps! Guy NN 😳

    Oi Boonie

Ta folks. Promise not to go away for so long next time. We're settling in to our new abode and the 7 is settling in to the new garage (although has been rather busy the last few days since being re- MOT'd 😬). It's nice to see the sheds are still open for business as usual! I've been biking a lot the last couple of years (24K miles in just under 24 months) mainly to and from work. Before the return of Eric I was planning on "seeing how things went" for the next few months / beginning of next spring as I can really only afford to do one thing or the other. The bike (a trusty 1997 Suzuki Bandit 600S) has worked hard this last two years and is in need of some tlc. So the plan was to see which I preferred as it were and make my mind up some time next spring. However, after just a couple of days back in the 7 and a touch over 100 miles (that's nearly half what the 7 has done in the last *10 months* tut tut) and I know it's the bike that won't be staying. Which is a shame as it's been super fun - even riding 37 icy miles home from work with no clutch after a colleague knocked the bike over in the car park (give him his due, he owned up immediately and did all possible to help) so breaking the clutch lever one dark, freezing fog infested, December evening last year. But I can't afford to both give the bike the care it needs and enjoy the 7. I know already the 7 is where I should be (assuming I don't lose my licence!! ). So it's great to be back. Won't be making the 50th celebrations as we have lots to do before I can take "days off" at the weekends but it's fun and wonderful to be settled once more. If any of you are going to the 50th please say "Hi" to anyone that knows me. And if not before the end of this season then I hope to see some of you around next season as I'll certainly be out and about more! Starting with a visit to see Rach and crew at the Cam meet next month. Oh hang on, this month! Guy NN 😳

Crikey yes, go for it! Oh, er, hello all again. 😬 Guy NN 😳
  9. Indeed. I've actually got one but it's in storage and not accessible in the timescales available - and without same day courier neither is ordering another from Caterham. Ne'er mind, we'll come up with something. Flat and black hopefully! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  10. Thanks Paul. I've got that but was hoping there was similar for the Caterham strut as it saves getting the tape measure out on the car (i.e. is designed to meet those specs when mounted on the grille). I think we'll be getting the tape measure and blue book out anyway though. I was just looking for a time saving solution! Ta everso. Guy NN 😳
  11. Ta Nifty, I'll drop Barbara a line / call. Hope you're fine fit and well old chap! 😬 Guy NN 😳
  12. Can anyone email me a timing strut template please? It doesn't have to be printable at 1:1 scale so long as the measurements are on there. Ta everso. Guy NN 😳
  13. I just love this weather. Dry heat, mmmmmmmm. Wx in Cam NN 😳 Edited by - No Nuts on 18 Jul 2006 15:14:35

    Boo!

Actually noticed marked improvement in the bike this morning on the way to the nice man who's going to do all the hard work (like change #3 plug!). Well, the front wheel was more in the air than usual. Amazing what a plug change can do, eh Birty? NN 😳

😬 Thanks Mrs MAV Not quite sure why, or if, I was ever away. Certainly never in spirit. Paul, guess what, kites are in storage too 🙆🏻. So no need for the fire extinguishers. More to the point, I don't ever recall flying my kites in front of anyone . Mrs K, great to hear you are still sprinting. L7C sprints are now out of my financial means since they made programmable ECUs not eligible for class 2. ☹️ Sorry, the bike stays - even if I have just spent 3 hours changing just 3 of the 4 plugs. Grrr gnash gnash!! 😬 NN 😳 Edited by - No Nuts on 17 Jul 2006 22:31:06
  16. Because they can? Oh, hang on, that's why do dogs lick their ***** isn't it? I'll get me coat. Guy PS - anyone heard this great joke about a man who goes to a zoo...? NN 😳 Edited by - No Nuts on 17 Jul 2006 12:49:34

    Boo!

Mostly trying to keep up with Cam7 Actually quite busy at work and home. Someone mentioned BC to me at the weekend so I thought I'd see if my nuts still worked as it were. Have done a bit of 7ing but not much this year as the car has spent a lot of time in storage (I don't have a garage at the moment). With any luck 2007 should see me out and about a bit more although maybe on 2 wheels rather than in the 7. You see I bought a bike last year to save petrol on the 74 mile round trip to work each day. I like 0-60 in 4 seconds but with 47mpg to boot. Plus smugly whizzing past all that slow / stationary traffic 😬 Although most of the 9K miles on the bike so far have been somewhat pedestrian as that's more my style dontchaknow! In 1998 I swore I'd never get back on a bike again! Well there you go. And you folk? How're Mr K and the team? NN 😳
