  19. I've got a couple of the old style hubs which keep as backups, you can borrow one until the replacements arrive from redline if that would help?

    Front hub

not a bad outcome but still not what you want to hear after been pounding it round somewhere like cadwell. was wary of removing even a few thou of material but figured was following chapman philosophy, off a bigger heavier vehicle and designed in days before FEA so a degree of over engineering at play, and touch wood has proved ok so far, crack tested each winter just in case though.

    Front hub

had similar issue where bearing had been run hot by previous owner, solved it by machining hub for slightly oversized race, only talking a few thou, added benefit that can purchase quality bearings, worked fine for several years now including sprinting.
  22. if fuel in tank is above plug then will leak all the time. the black connector is an interference fit through plate which has pump fixed to back of it, plugs into connector inside tank on the pump, seals with grommet. to remove gently lever with blade of screwdriver under cable clamp at bottom of connector to break seal then continue to lever around base of plug to remove. plugs into connector inside tank on pump and tricky to reconnect, got to be careful to align connectors and not to dislodge one inside tank. if you do then will need to undo plate retaining screws and slide pump out to make connection then reinsert pump. not much room to play with but helps to remove long tank strap bolt to give better access. Tank out isn't that big a job and makes access a whole lot easier. Remember to drain tank.
