  2. Cheers guys, anytime :) Happy testing
  3. Aw shucks 😳 Yep Terry, will all be going off tomorrow
  4. Yep :) Just email me the address you'd like them sent to.
  5. Pads arrived, will send out tomorrow, or, for those who are picking them up, just give me a ring. Can also deliver to Milton Keynes area on Friday and Daventry area on Sunday. Net result is we are now going to set up an account with the company, we will be able to get these pads (and any other Pagid product) at very good rates (will post figures) with no minimum order. The prices won't be as low as for the order just gone, but won't be a vast amount more (~5%), looking at the other usual places we'll be selling for about 30% less :D Best Regards, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  6. Hopefully, it would just be a case of either getting it through us or mentioning the discount to the distributer and it will be 10% off..... ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  7. (Custom Autotech - DigiDash www.customautotech.co.uk) Fraid to say this just doesn't look polished enough yet, reckon it will be a good piece of kit but right now it's just very, very industrial looking. (MoTeC - Advanced Dash Logger (ADL) www.motec.com.au/adl.htm) If you've got £3-£4k then go for this one, it's simply the best on the market. However, the cost matches in all aspects - from the unit itself to the price of sensors and upgrades. (Speedline - MyChron 3 "RACING ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTATION" www.speedlog.co.uk/mychron3.asp) Best balance of cost, looks, features and functionality by a considerable way. Simply nothing comes close for £500. (SPA Technique - Instruments (Hot Rod or Micro) Dash www.spatechnique.com/index3.html) Have to profess to having never seen one of these on a car yet so have only aesthetic comments! Display seems bright but very cluttered and layout is not to my liking. (Stack motorsport instrumentation and data logging www.stackltd.com) The most popular, you're looking at £2k for the full trackmapping, laptiming system with all the necessary sensors. Proven, reliable and quality. (Techtronics Race Dash www.techtronics.co.uk/dash.htm) Pretty piece of kit, however, only play back on the display and limited sensors. Last time I looked it was £500 (but that was six months ago!). (Warrior Racing - Iceman www.warrioracing.com/Warrior/Final/Iceman.html) Small cluttered display :( (EvoDash www.evodash.com) Isn't this just the Techtronics display? (Race Technology - DL90 Data Logger www.race-technology.com/WebPage/Products/Logger/DL90Home.html) Quality kit, very powerful and flash upgradeable. However, no display, all post processing. Can be used at tracks despite timing restrictions. (Data Tool - Digi Gear Indicator www.datatool.co.uk/digi.html) Just a gear indicator? Many dataloggers will offer this functionality within the software :) My thoughts are based on your budget - £0-£1,000 = MyChron 3 (£500) £1,000-£3,000 = Stack (£1,500-££2,500) £3,000 = Motec or Pi. 8. Yep, you're on there Terry, don't worry ;)
  9. Alex, missed your call, can you ring me back asap. Or can anyone pass me a mobile number for Mr Wong? (catch me on 07747-60-60-66). Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  10. Order placed this afternoon, 18 axle sets. Will update through email as to arrival and despatch. I'm contactable on the previously mentioned channels should anyone need an update. Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  11. Important I'm placing the order for the pads at lunchtime tomorrow (as a few people are waiting on the brakes ). So far I have only received confirmation/payment from three people! I will endeavour to contact everyone (who I haven't already) but could you please ring me on 01753-660-510 (daytime) or 07747-60-60-66 (evenings) if I haven't personally confirmed reception of your payment. I would need to confirm that it is in the post/system so that you don't miss your order (bear in mind electronic transfer can take three days) and I don't end up with £2,000 worth of pads I can't use! Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk Edited by - gee_fin on 29 Aug 2002 17:20:03
  12. Andy - it's either going back to Quaife ( I have no engine to mate it to LOL) or someone can buy it for what they're asking me for it, as said, if interested email me :) ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  13. Marius, if you're seriously interested I have one for sale now, contact me offline for further info. (graeme.finlayson@vicorp.com). 14. Have a nose at Rob's site, he has the new Caterham fronts. If they match yours, then Pagid don't currently have a pad for them ☹️ www.speedyseven.com/index.html?APFrontBrakes.htm Graeme.
  15. Well, I've got one on the gearbox kart and it's as good as I had hoped. Top piece of kit and I'm definetly going to be buying another. I'm going to get some footage of it running next time we take the kart out (trying for Reading this weekend). But basically it's everything I wanted, anyone interested is welcome to come and see it anytime (can't promise a run in the kart though! ). Discount-wise we're looking at 10% for just a few orders. This would bring it down to just under £500 for the complete kit. An absolute bargain. Graeme.
  16. Cheers, spoken and sorted. ===================== IMPORTANT ===================== Regarding the _new_ Caterham range of AP upgrade fronts - "Unfortunately this pad is not yet in the PAGID range, I believe this pad is in preparation, but we don't produce it yet." So, if anyone has the new AP fronts on order please contact me ASAP (01753-660-519/07747-60-60-66) as they _will not_ fit. Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  17. Can't get cellphone coverage at work (no reception), try me on 01753-660-519, otherwise I'll ring you when I get in tonight :) Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  18. Hi Andy, I sent out a group email on Wednesday, I'll resend it to you from work tomorrow. Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  19. Well, at the moment I have only received payment from one person so the 25 sets is looking unlikely! LOL If we make the 25 sets I'll transfer the balance back. Orders close on Wednesday. Feel free to ring/email for any info. Greg, got the confirmation email, did you get mine? Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  20. Sorry, been away stripping my car this weekend, only just got back to civilisation. Email dispatched, order going in on Wednesday. I'm contactable on 07747-60-60-66 should any further info be required. Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  21. Email sent to all who contacted or expressed an interest. Ken (Gibson) your email bounced, can you email me to confirm I've got the correct address? Cheers. Quick response requested on the email as I'd like to get the order in asap before the sets are gone! Best Regards, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  22. Well, we're up to 22 sets now, knocking on the door of the 10%. I've posted to the Se7en's list to see if there are any further takers. I'll send the email out on Wednesday after ringing for last orders on Tuesday evening! Cheers, Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  23. Hi Alex, Up to ~18 orders now so here's hoping :) Will send an email out mid-week to confirm. Graeme. ________________________________________________________ graeme finlayson / tyre warmer / fluke motorsport gee_fin@hotmail.com / www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk
  24. Here we go Answers to the questions - > Are any of these sizes suitable for the Alcon caliper that James Whiting > supplies? "Is the Alcon caliper a 2 pot or 4 pot caliper? The E3102 fits the standard Caterham caliper, but the pad shape also fits some Alcon 2 pot calipers also. The AP upgrade 4 pot pad also fits some Alcon 4 pot calipers." > Are these the Pagid "blues" I hear about for the fronts, and Pagid carbon > metallics for the rear "The RS4-2 compound is the blue compound and is carbon based. The RS14 is ceramic based and has a higher friction level than the blue compound. The RS14 compound is sold by Caterham in their HP brake upgrade kit for race use." > Are the prices for one set as in one corner, or, one set as in two > calipers? "The price is for an axle set of pads, ie front or rear." > Can you confirm that the 1163s will fit the AP big front brakes and std > Caterham rears? "The E1163's only fit the standard rear caliper, E1265 is the bigger AP 4 pot front." And onto prices, the initial prices were for a Demon Tweeks style order and minus VAT. Here are the prices we could get them for, they include VAT (but not postage) and are for a set (ie. an axle). PAGID No Fitment Price per Set E1163 - RS4-2 Caterham std rear £81.89 E1163 - RS14 Caterham std rear £90.62 E3102 - RS4-2 Caterham std front £96.78 E3102 - RS14 Caterham std front £106.09 E1265 - RS4-2 AP upgrade front £104.23 E1265 - RS14 AP upgrade front £113.53 E1363 - RS4-2 AP upgrade rear £96.78 E1363 - RS14 AP upgrade rear £106.09 If I can order 25 sets that comes down 10%. Not sure how that compares with Demon Tweeks/Caterham but I seem to remember them coming in at around ~£160. I'll wait for a few days to see who is interested and then email those who have expressed their wish for a set. Feel free to drop me a line on gee_fin@hotmail.com if you have any questions or require further info.
