  1. What a great venue and congratulations to Clive and Jeff. Tony and I had a great time despite the caustic comments!
  2. At least I am not in the running this time. Drove so slowly that there was always plenty of tarmac between me and the green stuff! Great weekend.

    More sneaky practice Mr Smith!!
  4. Great pics Paul. It all looks so easy from an outside perspective. If you had been at the finish line you would have caught the ear to ear grin.
  5. Glad that everyone else got home unscathed, you certainly couldn't have had better weather. As well as the De Dion ear the exhaust exiting under the car has damaged both floor panels, punching a hole through the drivers side just behind the pedals. Only found it this morning when I removed the mats. It looks as though a trip to Arch may be called for.
  6. Comments sent, but will they be heeded?
  7. Thanks Paul for providing the hospitality and to the other competitors for providing advice.
  8. I would probably had a crack at it but it clashes with Le Mans and I shall be there instead, especially as it will be the only chance to see the three works Porsches in different colours (red, white and black).
  9. I will have a spare pass with me that you are welcome to use.
  10. I would just like to second the views of the above and thank everyone involved with the organisation and running of the day. I enjoyed it and look forward to next weekend. The collection bucket raised £28.07 for the relief effort in Nepal - I will send the monies to the Juniper Trust.
  11. Crawling to Crawley seems rather appropriate!
  12. Spot on Paul - I could have done with being in that outside lane, in which you were moving! Horrid journey down.
  13. Is there a charge for spectators at this event as I have some friends who might like to visit?
  14. Once again the Forum comes up trumps. Thanks to 2GBR and Bob L for their offers and especially Bob as his silencer arrived in the post yesterday and hopefully will be fitted today.
  15. Two tickets for Sunday 12 April at face value of £35 each (£40 on the gate). Will include a voucher for a programme if both tickets bought together.
  16. Thanks for all the replies. The_Ash that is exactly the silencer I currently have fitted. Bob L I have replied to your BM.
  17. Nothing to do with feeding pussies! It seems as though I require a catalytic convertor for my 1800K Series car. It has four primaries leading to a collector with only a very short length of pipe before it enters the silencer box. As far as I am aware this is all standard stuff that has not been altered since Caterham built and SVA'd the car in January 2000. Do I need to shorten the silencer to fit a cat and who does a suitable low resistance cat that can be fitted into a 6" diameter silencer?
  18. StuB I have been offered a petty strut and also templates to fabricate a timing strut. Thanks for your offer though.
  19. I am looking for a petty strut for a RHD 2000 K Series Roadsport fitted with a FIA rollover bar with the single diagonal bracing bar. Also a timing strut.
  20. On the A49 this afternoon heading towards Warrington, I was the nutter in the blue Porsche who flashed and waved at you.
  21. The weather held out, slippery in the morning but dried up later, although it remained cold. All in all a good day and thanks Paul for letting me share your garage.
