  1. In case the clam idea stalled, I'm looking for a Minno (preferably with folding tow arm)...
  2. @ £200 a pair I'm investing in some of those for my winter upgrades :-)
  3. Looking for a 6-speed box for a sigma engine. Want something in good order with history, but can refurb if price is right. Will be for fitting over the winter.
  4. No idea what colours as the sun was making a welcome appearance but was very low and shining straight into my face. Thanks for the waves - it's so nice to see another Seven up here, let alone two! I was having a quick blat up the coast from Alnmouth to Bamburgh and Holy Island. Beautiful scenery, great weather and deserted roads
  5. Don't suppose you have a single reflector panel left knocking about? Looked at my lights when washing it today and noticed one missing. Unlikely I know but...
  6. I bought a Makita body only as have a few batteries already and an impact socket set to suit. Can post part numbers if interrsted. Great bit of kit for making the garage feel like an F1 pit :-)
  7. Hi, Does the rear ARB have everything required to fit to a car that currently doesn't have an ARB, or are there other parts I'd need to buy? I'm definitely intested if complete. Andy
  8. Thanks for the replies. Having removed all wires from the toggle switch in question, I find that full beam still comes on with the side lights and dipped beam. So, the wiring gremlin lies elsewhere and will be rectified by the company who built my new engine and fitted the fan override switch as I'm not about to start chasing it any further than that! Thanks all.
  9. Hi Oz, Sadly it's not as simple as upside down and the behaviour is a little complicated to describe (and I didn't have the time to try). I'll have a go at switching wires over the weekend but didn't want to randomly move wires around for fear of causing damage. Cheers, Andy
  10. Hoping the POBC can help sort a wiring issue for me... I recently had a fan override switch fitted next to the main beam / dipped beam toggle switch. Since that work was done, when I turn the headlights on I get full beam that the main beam toggle switch won't properly control. I suspect that the person who fitted my new fan override switch disconnected the main beam toggle switch wires and has refitted them in the wrong order. Can anyone confirm if the layout in the picture is correct for the main beam? For reference, the switch should be in the OFF position in my picture. Thanks!
  11. I'm out - all yours Tony if they're still on offer. Thanks for the transport offer, Nick. Andy
  12. I might be interested. Can you send me a few pics please? Cheers, Andy
  13. And there's MY car in MY garage, and at Cadwell recently (clearly)!! They look great Liz, thank you! For anyone thinking they look a little out of proportion, I can assure you that it's just the picture that has become stretched - they are perfect and I can't wait to see my wife's face when she receives a Christmas card with the "the other woman" on the front
  14. Glad you got it sorted. I'd also recommend a 12v socket in the passenger footwell and using a battery conditioner that has a suitable adapter. I use a CTEK conditioner that has an optional adapter, like this. Makes using the conditioner so quick and easy.
  15. no PDF but I do have an actual build manual for 2009 sigma, 125 and 150. If no electronic copies show up I'd be happy to scan a few pages for you. Andy
  16. I'd be interested in a circuit to do the job, Jonathan.
  17. Oh bottom. Well, I've just bought my first set (from Polley) for road use so best get them fitted and worn out toot sweet
  18. Hi Elie, Would you kindly share the manufacturer's name / part number or a link to where you bought these from? I'm keen to learn more as they look good and are an improvement over led bulbs in "standard" clear lenses, imo. Thanks!
  19. I'd like the headlight covers, please, if you can post for under a fiver? Cheers, Andy
  20. 8" rears too much tyre for my modest output, but would improve the looks of the size zero 6 inchers. If it were a set of 6" all round I'd transfer the money right now
  21. For those interested, Polley Motorsport tell me that Compomotive did have some financial issues last year but are pretty much back up and running and have wheels coming into stock within the next 1-2 weeks. I see a set of 6x13 CXRs entering my life soon 🥰 Edited by - AndyD on 3 Sep 2014 15:34:17
