  1. Simon Might be worth trying to get hold of Graham Wardell. He’s showing as entered and lives I think in Suffolk therefore would probably be heading along the A14. I don’t recall him being particularly active online.. so I guess a call might be the best way to at least ask.. Dan

    Insurance

Justin i don’t see why you’d need to as on circuit or competing it’s clear that your policy does not cover you.
  3. Rob.. the alternative engines will have to drive bloody hard to be successful in class 3 I promise.. a couple of us old gits with a k series aren’t going to make life easy!
  4. Tried AP... they don't sell direct anymore - it doesn't appear that part CP2257-44 or CP2257-9 are currently in stock anywhere.
  5. Thanks Mark.... Burton are also out of stock with no date for re-stocking.
  6. Do any of you jolly nice chaps, and the rest of you who don't qualify in the aforementioned category - know of anyone who may have a clutch centreplate for a K-series engined car? Caterham, Redline, AP stockist in Oxfordshire et al don't have stock.. Any assistance or advice would be welcomed - within reason!!!! ;-) dan
  7. I'm in the process of renewing the Clutch centreplate on my K-series car ,it's an AP therefore has known issues and as it's mainly used for Sprinting - it's a form of preventative maintenance of sorts. However - the part - CP2257-44 is out of stock with Caterham, the alternative CP2257-9 is not available at Redline, nor any of the AP dealers that i've spoken to and they don't believe it's currently in production. So, anyone know of one available or alternatively a part number that will work? I ideally don't want to replace the whole clutch cover and centre plate unless I really need to. dan
  8. Paul. If you are anywhere near Mallory, i’d Suggest speaking to McMillan motorsport for a set up. They are in Hinckley and really do know Caterham’s inside out.

    Rockingham

May be worth calling the circuit direct, they manage the security and access. I guess much will depend on the paddock used and whether they intend to use just the inner paddock or the outer paddock area behind the Turn 1 grandstand - personally I'd be happy with the inner paddock - less so the external paddock area.
  10. Jean yes the cage is still available. It should fit any de-Dion imperial chassis
  11. Rob. could you add Emma and I to the list please. Dan
  12. Final bump before I try the Facebook groups
  13. just a heads up to let people know that there is a charity day at Castle Combe Saturday in support of the Stroke Association. https://www.stroke.org.uk/events/sporting-fundraising/supercar-saturday-2017 i along with a few other owners will be there supporting a worthy cause and offering passenger laps round Castle Combe for a reasonable sum. The actual list of cars is not yet published however for those of you brave enough I can promise I won’t hang around! Be great to see a few people there, last year there were over 2000 visitors and the day raised £15000. I along with all of the other drivers offer our services, our cars and our fuel at no cost to the organisers or charity. Dan
  14. I’d like to also add my congratulations to Jeremy and the other class winners. However, my greatest thanks go to Chris and all those involved in organising and managing the championship. Dan
  15. As per the title. I am selling my old roadsport cage, This is the single diagonal Safety Devices cage. Cage doesn't have homologation sticker- however these can be bought from safety devices. Could do with re-powdercoating. Offered cheap to prevent me from tripping over it repeatedly!! £150 dan
  16. FIA bar for imperial S3 Caterham. Single diagonal type bar. Comes with headrest/stay and Petty Strut with Homologation sticker from Arch motors. Could do with powder coating if you wanted it perfect or to match your car. Currently painted black. £175 Located in Wiltshire. Dan
  17. Just over half a tank Richard. A hangover from wiscombe and introduction to sprinting..
  18. My runs from yesterday can be found Thanks to all of you for a great year of competition! Thanks to all those involved behind the scenes managing and organising! dan
  19. Chris. Sorry to mess you around, however as I have an appointment in Sussex on Friday 13th I won't be competing at Anglesey, can you therefore remove me from the list of people wanting garage space. If circumstances chenge then it's my tough luck and I shall deserve to be sat outside in the Welsh monsoon on my own.
