  1. If still for sale can I provisionally take. dan
  2. Mike. I will definitely have them then. I am not far from Bristol. Dan
  3. Are these still available? If so I will gladly take them off your hands. dan
  4. pair 6" Compomotive CXR 1362's offset ET20 for de Dion. Come fitted with pair of 175/60/R13 tyres in K61 compound. About 2.5mm of tread remaining. Also pair or rear 215/50/R13's which are just above wear bars. £200
  5. Does anyone have a set of the above available for sale that are road legal?dan
  6. Mark Thanks for that. If a set does not come up I may well stick with what I have then and possibly choose an event where cold grip isn't such a premium. I am likely to be in the south this weekend if you area available, I could collect over the weekend - Likely to be saturday? Message me your number if possible. dan
  7. Mark Yes BMTR have tyres however how durable would A24's be on road/ track days? I'm not planning on doing more than a handful of sprints due to work and other commitments and with impending changes to List 1B tyres? they would need to be usable for a track day or on the road. I will still have the petty strut off you if that's ok unless someone else needs it. Not planning on fitting the cage back on in the immediate future.
  8. I believe that they found a new home. I also would note that the cement bag is no longer required as I have some additional ballast installed myself.
  9. Does anyone have a set that they don't want/ are prepared to sell? Ideally after Soft/ Supersoft Kumho's 175 and 215's or ZZR's in A24 compound. Not planning to do many rounds and Mel is out of 215's in anything but medium. If anyone has any then I might get round to entering Curborough... (I guess that's enough to get most of you lot to lock the cupboard door!) dan
  10. Mark Apologies - and yes. I will be heading south fairly soon to pick up my cage from Copthorne, unless you are ever in Birmingham? Richard - will heed the advice - I'm coming back this year for some fun - I haven't done anything for 3 years so dont' expect much! Will probably only be for this year as I'm hoping to sell the car and go racing again in 2016. Must catch up sometime - I appear to be upsetting the locals in your area by closing Stoke Road.. ;-) V70's it will be then. Sounds like 175/ 185's on the front will be the way forward rather than get too involved in bending stays and potentially replacing wings purely for sprinting. dan
  11. Some advice please, I'm expecting abuse from a few of you however - here goes. What's a good Class 3 tyre? Still Kumho V70r? I have 8" rears and currently 6" fronts running running 215 rears and 175 fronts. Will a 215 fit a 7" rim and under standard front arches on the front wheels with an ET28 offset? Clearance to the wingstay looks like it may be tight - just some advice before I head off and buy new tyres. Also - what's a good compound? I've noted that Kumho do the V70r in 185/70/13 in K12.. Many thanks in advance. dan
  12. i do feel that RS commentary was possibly more concise than the original responses Mark.. For slander or defammation of character doesn't that require character references to be factually incorrect?? ;-)
  13. I definitely have one in the garage..
  14. Sheesh... 7 years away and the same old arguments about power beating driver skill... So.. will I be competative in my old 1.8k shed? or will I need to upgrade to an R300 and lose half my body weight? One hopes that I will be for the other is a financial burden that grass roots hillclimbing really cannot justify to me. Sensible approach is: Class 2 and 3 the same - allowing swapping between classes without upgrade as always was allowed. 160bhp limit is sensible - at worst a standard ish car will be giving away 20bhp... A good driver can more than make up for that defecit at most circuits. See you all next year
  15. I can also vouch to have heard it... I got accused of being insensitive by my fiancé when laughing so hard I couldn't see while driving dad!
  16. is this still available?
  17. Thanks Gary, both the later electronic odometer readout. I'd prefer to retain the mechanical gauge if possible.
  18. Apologies, Caerbont - mechanical gauge preferably. The later digital ones I could use if the sender unit is with it to convert from cable drive.
  19. As the title suggests. Preferably working condition. dan
  20. Nope... Still my old 1800k I last used before going racing.. Older, but much prettier and less shed like.. But still a mixamate should the cement bag find its way back. It was class 2 before, so I'd imagine still the same now
  21. Hmm.... so... I'd probably be in Class 3 if I return then..
  22. Wanted - Imperial S3 FIA rollover bar. May p/Ex my roadsport cage in exchange.. Anyone got one?
