Mike Barnby wheels now sold to Steve in Norfolk

all three sets are 2 x 185/55R13 front and 2 x 215/55R13 rears I can measure the depth tonight but I reckon they are approx 30% worn (ie 70% remaining)

Has anyone used both ZZR and CR28's on the same car (ZZR for dry and CR28 for wets) and if so can you comment on the ride height difference?

May help someone out who's after tyres or wheels for this season here

if you are getting wets why not the cr28 I think it Would change the ride height and car setup Rob. I'm guessing the ZZS has the same profile , diameter and tread widths as the ZZR, meaning you can swap them without any change (apart from grip)

Lichfield.....mmm...as a work colleague who comes from there frequently reminds me - Birthplace of the modern English dictionary, twinned with Limburg an der Lahn and is a proud host to one of the few three-spired cathedrals in UK. Perhaps a club outing to the Dictionary museum might be in order as well 😬

the mag 7s run one 40 minute race with a pit stop, these BARC races will be 2 no. 20 minute races, so no not really the same I've heard on the grapevine (but don't know for a fact) that the mag7's are perhaps going over to 2 x 20mins for 2014, rather than 40mins inc a pitstop. leave it alone and maybe consider blanking off the lower portion of the rad/nose cone to restrict airflow in the colder weather. *thumbup* If I don't block the bottom half of the rad off in cold weather on my car, I get high temps too. It's counter-intuitive I know but the rad over-cooling part of the cooling circuit can cause the water temps to creep up.

And as sweet as a sweet thing can be for our 40 min races How many races do you typically get out of a set of ZZR's ? (obviously totally dependent on car and driver, but as a rough guide)

Ahhh....yes 😬 😬 One of my two grass tracking excursions at Loton The title on the photo isn't quite accurate. i wasn't 'beached', but had just reversed up the banking, after ending up near the tree further below (due to trying to take the previous corner at a slightly over-optimistic speed

Looking forward to seeing some of the other (faster run) videos, but here's my effort at 57.65 secs. A noteworthy Hillclimb video, in that not only does it feature my driving ( 🙆🏻) but it also features a run at Dusk 😬 😬 (you had to be there to appreciate the irony of that )

and with car problems on the day too! *thumbup*
