  3. Had this myself last week of - of sorts Turned out it was the fuse to the EMU (20A) Everything came on then pressed the starter and click it was a short too Changed fuse everything running fab

I used the existing tray but modified the strap and fits tightly on there Or you could try drilling out the tray and lying it on its side with some cable ties Either way not a drama oh the battery is fab by the way masses of torque etc and half the size Make sure you use a conditioner on it though Chris

    Just got a PV25 - fantastic bit of kit small and you can mount on its side. Also turns the engine over much better than the banner appeared to Got Mine for 69.00 plus the carriage

    Dyrill Thanks for the update, sound like its top notch I take it torque is all over the place now? Did Oily play around with the head at all? If your round my way would be good to get a sense as to what its like Chris
  9. I guess I already have a low il press switch somewhere though as I have the light on the dash Its presumably not part of the old oil pressure sender?

Have received a mechanical oil pressure gauge today from Think Automotive Question I have is they sent me braided hose finishing with a T piece which has on either side of the braided connection a threaded male on one side ( I assume this screws into the hole left by the old sender) and a female hole which I can only assume you plug with the old sender? correct? Anyway I have a big low pressure light on the dash but not sure where the sender is?? Any ideas - does it use one side of the sender? Chris
  11. Thanks have ordered a kit from Think but they have suggested to fit the t piece on the back of the oil filter rather than remotely Will this be ok?

    Looking at some of the commenst am I right in saying that if you have a EU2 VVc that you must have the pistons repleaced if you go down the K06 route i.e dumping mech, putting in Emerald and cames and verniers I was under the assumption if careful that wouldnt be required?

    Think Dave does two upgrades one with the existing EU2 and then another using the emerald? Looks like 175 and 185bhp respectively Not sure the bank manager will allow the 185bhp as it looks like going to jenveys and dumping the VVC mech Have you any done either?

Ok have the old dash off my car and even though its a 2000 car looks like I have the smaller tube supports ( I see that they changed the diameter after 2000) Has anybody fitted a new CC carbon dash to an older chassis and if so how? I was going to rivet the top and sides and use velcro or sikaflex to take up the slack at the bottom?? Any ideas gratefully received C
  25. Now dont think me silly but Im fitting a CC carbon dash and was wondering Do you fit the dash on top of the existing Ali dash or remove the ali dash and place the CF one in its place? If you don't remove it then I have a problem as the the pre drilled holes dont line up! The CF dash seems a bit flimsy to be not backed with something Any help anyone? Merry xmas by the way
