  2. The standard vx1600 caterham bellhousing is the same as 2.0xe, the bolt pattern on the newer 1600 vx engines is different. The old c16nz2 in the vx1600 classic / scholarship / academy car used a 2.0xe block.
  3. Does anyone know where a bellhousing could be obtained, z16xer engine to type 9 gearbox?
  4. Hope this helps Only image I can find of the back
  5. Hi SM25T, the site dimensions state 9cm, as per Marks blog I needed to adjust the the clips holding the lenses in, but not had an issue.
  6. Your best bet would be talk to tundersport / Oxted group who make them. Think they are about £800 each
  7. Very rare example of a beautiful watch. Dubey & Schaldenbrand and a small independent Swiss manufacturer creating watches in very low numbers for the discerning customer. This watch comes complete with the original leather strap, box (outer cardboard and inner leather) and papers, it also comes with additional leather strap making the watch wear larger than the 38 mm it is. It keeps good time if kept wound and the chronograph functions properly. Ebay Link
  8. Link to Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07G972T2M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  9. I have these They have a halo ring that I've used for side lights, then dipped and main beam. If you want more info I'll dig it out, think they are actually for a Harley Davidsion but are E marked and work really well.

    GPS Speedo

I have converted from an Old cable drive speedo to a new Stack electronic one. Then using https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/de/gps-speedo-signal-converter I have converted the standard speedo to gps, config was drive for two miles in setup mode. Using GPS app on phone the speed is +- 1 mph I guess the comments about tunnels etc are fair, but haven't had drop out even under heavy tree cover.
  12. The cars isn't looking its best any more, where would people recommend for a respray in the midlands?
  13. Thanks BJW that's exactly what I'm after
  14. It's a scholarship car from 1999 VX1600
  15. Does anyone have a fuse and reply layout to hand? The label appears to have disappeared from mine.
  16. Some issues with the drivers seat so after a single or a pair of leather seats, maybe someone upgraded to Tillets and has them spare?

  18. Have a look on page 64 of the trouble shooting section. Display and dial show fixed high values Sounds like the issue you're having
  19. Price reduced to £5750 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201701141300991
  20. To be honest Jonathan, I don't care what it is. The point is I NEVER have it on a charger or conditioner and it just works. The FIA isolator is the key in my opinion.
  21. Come from championship power, about six years ago, almost positive it's this one. http://www.championshippower.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=73&products_id=90&zenid=3u765t1uq892e6sm65356k02h6
  22. Mine is left for months sometimes (over the winter) never had an issue. The FIA switch cuts all power from the battery so no leaching loads at all. Just get in wait turn the key to start the fuel pump, wait a couple of minutes for the fuel to fill the carbs then turn over, normally starts first time unless really cold.
  23. Get one of the gel type batteries and an FIA switch. Had this on mine for five years, never even though of connecting a charger or conditioner, it just works.
