  1. Heading West. Sparkling in the sunshine, looks like a labour of love keeping the ally that shiny! Tom
  2. Hi Stephen, just getting the gearbox oil leak checked out, got back home last Friday with a puddle of oil on the trailer. was a great day, shame I didn't get to run with you on the track but to be honest with the power gap I don't think I would have kept site of you for long anyway! Cheers Tom
  3. Hi Martin, If the car you saw was on a trailer, then it was me taking it to sevens & classics. thanks for the spotted. hope to see you soon! Tom
  4. This begs the question, what is considered to be an acceptable amount of weight to balance the wheels? What is the criteria for CC/Avon replacing the tyres or issuing a refund?
  5. I had the same problem, got my local tyre fitter to fit and balance them and had horrible vibration through the steering. Got them re-balanced by a specialist, they had to use a lot of weight though.
  6. Parked in the carpark sparkling in the sunshine.
  7. I have the sigma 140 SuperSport and on the road it's absolutely fantastic to drive, enough torque that you don't have to constantly change gear, but still needs revving to make fast progress. The beauty of it on the road is that you can use all of the power. On track it's still brilliant fun but long straights it can be a bit frustrating. However I'm told that this can be largely resolved with the aero screen fitted. That said, I would recommend that you go for the SuperSport conversion for your current engine (135bhp from memory). Circa £1500 Tom
  8. I've just swapped to 8" wheels on the back of my sigma supersport purely for how they look. I'm going on track next week so will see how they feel. Tom
  9. Think it was polished ally body with dark nose/wings. Flashed you from the silver Audi with the big red canoe on the roof! Tom
  10. That looks so much clearer than the old manual. Great to see this sort of investment, well done CC. Makes me want to build another one... Tom
  11. Hi Chris, Hope you're well. I've just changed from 185 55 to 215 55 rear tyres, this has increased the circumference significantly, you say how to find out how many pulses per mile but how do you adjust it? cheers Tom
  12. parked in the carpark by the inlet
  13. I flashed from the silver Audi towing the orange seven. Tom
  14. Wife spotted you late Saturday morning.

  16. On Italian plates, leaving Lucca on SS12. if local would be great to meet up for a blat in the next couple of weeks. Tom
  17. Found in the garage at the weekend, sold the car 6 years ago! It fitted a 56 reg which is a B7 type I believe. It's in good condition complete with original case/bag. £50 can email photos to anyone interested. Tom
  18. Voltage when engine not running is 12.6v, didn't want to rev it to 3000rpm at 9pm so will do that tomorrow evening. I can't recall getting a buzzing noise from my hazard light switch, I'll listen again tomorrow. If this is the problem, it's presumably just a case of replacing the switch? Martin, yes a breakfast blat sounds good! I can't make this Sunday morning but I was thinking of popping over to Headcord in the afternoon if the weather's good. Tom
  19. Thanks Jonathan, Happens on both sides, I will check the battery voltage tonight and post the results later. cheers Tom
  20. Hi All, my car is a 2013 supersport and I'm now on my 3rd indicator relay. The last time I replaced the relay the indicators started off working fine (including hazard lights), but after a few outings they started 'sticking' on (the light stays on continuously). This can normally be resolved by switching the toggle switch a few times, however eventually this doesn't work and they remain on (until you move the toggle switch to the off position). I fitted another new relay yesterday and the problem occurred almost immediately - this makes me think it isn't the relay itself. Or is there a known faulty batch of relays? The car still has the original lamps so the load on the relay hasn't changed. Anyone else experienced similar? Any advice gratefully received! Many thanks Tom
