Cheers Chris, Not fixed down to a date but would be nice to register in March for the new 17s. Paperwork goes off today special delivery so hopefully they're speeding through after Christmas...! Caterham have no experience with my local station so i'm just going to chance it. Worst case is that it fails and I have to pay £90 and wait. Hoping that a boot full of tools, trim and a nice attitude to the tester should be enough. Found a chat full of Locosts/Westfields that had passed there no issue and people commenting that they were allowed to make adjustments so we shall see! Jason

Hi Guys, As I now have a running & driving Caterham I've filled in the IVA test paperwork apart from the box to choose where it gets tested. Wondering if anyone on here has any experience with Beverley as it's only 40 miles from me? Need to get it sent off soon as i'm intending a 1st March Registration! Cheers Jason

For anybody interested - I wanted to insure the car whilst being built and also probably more importantly for the long 222 mile trip back from Dartford to York. The only company I found that were able to supply to my needs were MSM, on top of the build cover the 'Goods in Transit' cover was an additional £60. I've now got peace of mind that from the moment I collect to the moment it passes the SVA it's covered. Thanks to the insurance thread for the contact names!

So a week earlier than I was told last week, my kit is ready now so this Friday I shall be driving to Dartford to collect. Has anybody else collected their own? Any tips or advice on what to take? Thanks everyone for the advice! Didn't know there were different stays for different wheels - glad I found out as I was planning to attach the wings with adhesive as Caterham seem to do now! Would use the Big Heads but heard of Caterham removing them at the PBC and bonding them on for some reason... presumably an IVA test issue. Great info on how to calibrate the speedo so thanks to Chris for that!

Just wondering if anyone can help me out, my Caterham is coming with the standard 14" wheels and i'm really not keen! Sadly my kit is due in November so I can't change the wheels now. I would have preferred the 15" Orcus Anthracites but the nearest I can find online for looks would be the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2... Has anyone got these wheels or any opinion on them? Also, what size would I need? Offset etc? Tyre Size? I really don't want the speedo reading incorrectly so need something that matches the factory spec ideally! Thanks in advance! Jason
