Straight fit and foam. The K&N one is a cotton gauze filter, slightly angled fit. In my experience, the foam ones are much more prone to falling apart than the K&N ones.

The K&N site uses that part number for the ridged type... Caterham Parts for the foam type... "Nothing else needed other than the Jubilee clip. I can't remember if it comes with one but if not you can swap it across from the old filter." The Caterham Parts product includes a clip. Jonathan

I can't remember if it comes with one but if not you can swap it across from the old filter. They're robust, durable, washable and sound nice! I've had one one on my car for a few years now and it's been fine. The one thing that's not obvious from the picture above is that rubber mounting neck is slightly angled, so it sits at a slight angle to the TB rather than straight as with the Caterham / Pipercross foam filter, but it's not an issue. You can angle it however suits to fit the space.

  5. Apologies - whilst trying to tidy up old duplicate threads I managed to delete the one with comments rather than this one... so I will add back in the replies with reference to who made the post and when. I have updated my duplicate thread processing so this should not happen again.
  6. Moved it to For Sale as per your post.
  7. Duplicate posts removed - just be patient if the post seems to be taking a whle, and editing the post can also trigger duplicates (as can trying to delete a duplicate).
  8. Possibly a bit over Dan's target of £15-20k
  9. You've not said where you are or what kind of money you are looking to spend. Various dealers advertise in Lowflying. You can also do online searching (obviously) for 2nd hand cars, e.g. https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/12672035 Not sure what's in the For Sale section of BlatChat at the moment, but you may need to change the drop-down for how far back you want to look for posts...
  10. This one? https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/13276165
  11. Just checking if the reply-to number bug is still with us... this should be a reply to #2 but might show up as a reply to #3 (as before).
  12. I take it you mean this one: https://www.joemacari.com/stock/caterham-csr-r500-superlight/10004831
  13. Hi Paul, Thanks - not something I can help with unfortunately but being just down the road from Arch with a son at uni in Essex I was checking to see if anything was possible (but he's at the wrong end of the county and that weekend doesn't work for me either). Hope you get something sorted, Andrew
  14. My understanding is that CC are holding out for something suitable, so not making a move yet seems sensible. Who knows, there might be a stay of execution if you can get carbon neutral liquid fuel...
  15. Seems that this started prior to the weekend for at least one person, though I am sure I was OK up to Friday doing replies from my phone...
  16. This is the error I get, about to report it to NDP:
  17. Looks very nice, getting something new or different? Location might help those thinking of taking a look...
  18. As per the other thread where this has been raised, I am seeing this too and it may be related to the Drupal upgrade two days ago. I will contact NDP tomorrow.
  19. And that was just a couple of seconds, which makes it look likely that Apache Solr is the issue. From the logs: Commit at Sat, 22 Jan 2022 17:19:01 +0000 failed. Solr will commit at the next interval. (the error relates to my prior test, not this one)
  20. Exclude from Apache Solr set
  21. I'm a UK potential buyer of a 170 but would like to try one against some other Sevens (having not driven a Seven since the mid-90s and any kind of Caterham for two decades) - my Seven had around 100-110 bhp so a lighter car with around 85 bhp may offer sufficient performance...
