  1. Thanks for the replies. I have bought the the tetroson 9220 to use for the carbon dashboard and the carbon wings.
  2. I have removed the existing dashboard and the adhesive used is still sticky and regrabs if aloud to touch. When I removed the wings the adhesive used had set right through so does anyone know what adhesive was used for the dash.
  3. Fittings and pipe available from car builder solutions

  7. I had a similar problem on a mgb and found that the brass ring had moved
  8. Are the rear wheels the same width front and rear. If so could you swap front to rear and try to see if there is a change. I have had a prop shaft joint that was only showing that it was worn in a particular place as it was turned.
  9. Can you access the pump to check that it has alive feed to it with the ignition on?

  12. I think it’s called a half moon spanner.
  13. I think a lot of us leave our cars unused for a while and a lot of them have a parasitic load which drains the battery. I don’t like long term use of a conditioner so have fitted a battery isolates and have never had a battery problem in 8 years of owning my car. I would think this would solve a lot of the problems owners have. Just my thoughts.
  14. I Am generally one of the silent majority. If we have 2500 members surely when a change is to be made why are we not asked to vote yes or no before a change is made after all ultimately we pay for it. I thought this was how democracy is supposed to work

I think one of the reasons for changing the fluid is moisture. You can buy a tester and check the moister content (also useful for the tin top)

  17. If you have one as a pattern could you not make one using aluminium
  18. Try Renovo window polish. I have used it with good results.
  19. Just a thought. Do you have a friendly mot garage nearby that would check what brakes are actually doing at each wheel.
  20. Take off the pedal box cover and check if switch is live one side with ign switch on,press pedal see if other side is live and lights on. Switch is known to give trouble as not very good quality.
  21. Just to add my own experience. I fitted a battery isolation switch accessible in passenger foot well and a powervamp battery four years ago. Car on axle stands for six months over winter. Plugs out, turn over engine for oil pressure. Plugs in car started first push of button. I set immobiliser before turning off battery
  22. When I fitted mine I had the same issue there was a flat plate which I removed before fitting the channels
  23. Have you tried Car Builder Solutions
