  1. Mirrors now sold, along with other items provisional sale. I will post if any of the provisional sales don't go through. Thanks all for your interest.
  2. Thanks guys. I'll try Oxted in the new year.
  3. Hi, just looking at my winter jobs. Unfortunately my car was victim to a curious fox in 2021 who chewed up the handbrake gaiter and a bit of the tunnel. It's almost ignorable but getting up my list of things 'to do'. I appreciate this isn't the sort of thing one normally has lying around, but on the off-chance does anyone have a spare whole tunnel cover / top for a 2013 S3 (ford 5 speed box)? Thanks Chris

  5. Sorry just seen this - will add later today!
  6. Like busses, the last post on this has encouraged me to clear out some of my old stuff that I don't use and is just taking up space! Open to sensible offers on any of these I'm based in SW London but am also around Chichester a couple of times every month to for collection, otherwise can post at cost. All items for S3 metric and in excellent condition 1. S3 full hood, only put on the car once when new, never used since. £250. 2. Hood sticks and straps - £30 3. Vinyl boot cover (FIA X bar, also fits with standard bar). - £70 4. Pair of standard mirrors (only fitted for IVA) - £75.
  7. Hi Wrightpayne. I've got a set of inertia belts, virtually brand new - fitted and replaced within 5 miles of new! Could offer you a considerable discount including all nuts and bolts.
  8. Dead easy to fit, as mentioned above the yellow wire is not used. Otherwise it is just a case of swap over (you might need to pop on some new connectors too but no big problems).

    New 420

Give it a chance for a run in, but you might want to think about taking it to someone who knows what they are doing and look at a remap.
  10. I've got a friend who might be interested. Not on the group but looking at the moment. I've sent him a copy of your advert and will drop you a BM if he's interested. Don't suppose you have any photos?
  11. I use Nankang AR1 for track. They're a fair bit cheaper than Avons so I'm happier giving them a bit more abuse! Super sticky but not so hot in the wet as I found out at Silverstone recently. I've heard good things about NS2Rs too.
  12. Hi Dave where are you located? Also does this have sintered or carbon plates and what are the ramp angles? Provisionally interested as a winter project! Cheers Chris
  13. I live just outside Central London and drive in fairly often, sometimes in the tintop but in the Caterham when I can. It's not a great experience, in particular if you aren't used to London drivers, although I am cut a bit more slack in the Caterham than in my other car. The real killer is the C-charge which is now 7 days a week, 7am to 10pm and £15 a pop. If you are caught by the ULEZ too (older caterhams) then you'd be cheaper getting a ferry over to France tbh. And more fun!
  14. Before I buy new, does anyone have any spare adjustable damper sleeves knocking around their garage? I've got non-adjustable suspension at the moment and have the rings to fit, but no sleeves. It's been on my to do list for a while now and getting dangerously close to the top! Thanks Chris

  16. Thanks Jonathan, useful to know.
  17. With many thanks to Stu for pointing out my real problem. I was looking for green...not white Now working, thanks for the help!
  18. Hi BizzieLizzie - yes I could I guess but I'm not really keen on plug in USBs, plus my battery is li-ion so I'm not sure you can add a conditioner as you can for a standard battery. Thanks!
  19. Jonathan. I've got a wiring diagram thanks, and it seems to match my actual wiring too! Starter button has a white wire and a white wire with red stripe.
  20. Hi, I've got a MY2013 Sigma and am looking for a switched live to connect up a USB car charger. From the wiring chart it looks like I need a solid white wire, which is fine but they appear to be a bit tricky to find. The easiest to access is connected to the starter button, but when I connect it up I'm not getting any power to the USB. Could there be a reason why that isn't coming through ok? Is it actually a switched live running to the starter button? The earth is good and it works ok if wired directly to the battery (but I don't want to do that to avoid parasitic drain, even though it has an off-switch on the charger). The car starts fine with the start button so that's working ok. Car electronics not my forte so any suggestions welcome (and likely to help me even if basic suggestions!). Thanks in advance.

    Lowered Floor

I paid £420 at sevens & classics last week for drivers side. It was a little more than Arch (I think they charge about £360ish) but more convenient for me - they also gave me a hire car to use whilst the car was with them for the day.
  22. I'm a fan of Dragons Breath. It stinks like nothing else but works a treat.
