    Selling

I'd say the FB groups are certainly worth a punt before you try going via a dealer.
  2. Hi, I've been going to LoT days for the past couple of years so am also a lifetime member. I've got a FIA bar but no petty strut so not sure how correct the above is as a general comments for them. You definitely need a cage for some of the European tracks and I think that they have introduced for Silverstone as well - this wasn't the case a year or so ago but it is a really fast track (and I've seen a couple of Exiges end up on their roof!). I'm at the Anglesey day on 8 May if that's the one you are at? I'm going with about 8 other Caterhams and they always tend to be well represented.I'd give Paul (the guy who runs it) an email on the address given on the site. Really helpful and responsive. Chris
  3. There's a guy on here in West London who is selling a carbon aero with carbon mirrors for £650 if you are interested.
  4. I have just removed the standard master cylinder from my car (replaced with updated) so have it spare and would be willing to sell if you are interested Dean? It's from an 18mth old car.
  5. Is this the whole diff including casing, or just the LSD internals for fitting in a Sierra diff housing?
  6. Just having a clear out of my garage and have various random items which are just gathering dust. All removed from a fixed cam sigma after approx 1500 miles of use (Prem Power upgrade was too much to resist) Prices below but sensible offers welcome. All prices plus postage (varies depending on item), or collect from SW9 (or PO20 by arrangement). Photos available on request! - Caterham door mirrors (removed after IVA) - £30 for the pair - catalytic converter and guard - £SOLD - intake manifold - £50 - alternator - £80 - pair of std front brake calipers inc hoses and pads (plenty of pad left) - £100 - Titan LSD (sintered plates, sierra diff - rebuilt by R&R approx 2000 miles ago, bought by me and then discovered I had a BMW diff - doh!) - £350 Drop me a BM if any questions. Thanks Chris
  7. Thanks. I shall ponder the choice from your experience (and Jonathan thank you for the archive links also). As a related follow up, what order do you bleed the brakes in?
  8. Hi, I'm about to upgrade my brakes to 4 pots on the front and better pads at the rear so will need to bleed my brakes. I've done this before but as a 2 man job. Look to be lots of one man kits on the market, just looking for recommendations as to the one which people have found works best. I've seen the reviews of some of the cheaper models aren't too good. I don't have an air compressor so am looking at manual versions. Thanks in advance. Best, Chris
  9. If Alan doesn't come up trumps then I know where mine is which fits the bill (and is unused - removed after IVA). No centre thingy though. I'm in Italy at the moment, back next Monday. Chris
  10. Random bits and pieces from around my garage / attic for sale. Photos available on request (blatmail me please!) as I can never seem to get them uploaded the right way round on here! All items are in excellent condition, many unused. The mechanical parts were all removed by Mr Creswell (Premier Power) when I upgraded from a measly 125bhp to a more impressive 190bhp and had only done 1500 miles at the time. All from a MY2013 Sigma 125 (fixed cam). Full hood (unused) - £150 Hood sticks - £20 Soft bits touring tunnel bag (black vinyl) - SOLD Alternator - £ 120 Clutch, flywheel plus cover (for Ford 5 speed box sigma engine) - £120 Intake manifold - £75 All items are priced ex delivery. I’m based in SW London but am on occasion found on the South Coast close by to Chichester if more convenient. Or I can ship anything, anywhere at buyer’s cost. Thanks Chris
  11. The standard mapping is a dog, in my experience. Get it remapped and it will run like a treat.
  12. Gentlemen, your knowledge and practicality is greatly appreciated. Problem solved!
  13. Hi, I'm tinkering with my Caterham today and noticed that a lot of the base studs for poppers on the bodywork are pop riveted in place rather than screwed. I can't get my rivet tool flush against the stud. Is there a specific bit of kit I need? I'm using a manual riveter, don't have enough need for an air riveter. Thanks in advance! Chris
  14. Yup where are you based? Will DM you my email...
  15. Before I take the plunge and ask the good folks at Oxted, would anyone happen to have a good condition leather tunnel top (ideally carbon) available for sale?
  16. There are a couple on Facebook groups at the moment.
  17. Rooting round in the attic today and realised that I had a set of wheels I've not been using and am unlikely to. They are 14in minilite style wheels (Ford 108 PCD) with virtually brand new Avon ZT7 tyres fitted (dated 1820 and 1920). I did about 600 miles on these tyres before I swapped them out for 13s. No marks or scuffs on the wheels, I'll give them a clean before I sell them just to take off some of the dust. They've been dark stored since removal. Some pics attached, can take others of them on request. I'm looking for around £275 for these, collection only from SW London or Chichester. Thanks Chris
  18. Boot cover and full hood, plus hood sticks, are available again. Prices as above, reasonable offers considered!
  19. Very much off the topic of Caterhams but I have a pair Wimbledon Court 1 debentures which I won't be able to use every day of in 2022. These are the only tickets which can be legitimately resold for Wimbledon. Prices will vary throughout the tournament (and are refundable if the unthinkable happens) with the semi-finals often proving the most popular, therefore the most expensive. The retractable roof on Court One also means that play is guaranteed and for the first time this year there is play formally scheduled for the middle Sunday. If I'm honest the tickets are pretty eyewateringly expensive but if you are looking at corporate entertaining (remember that?) or a special treat for a loved one then it is worth splashing out for the experience - these are the best seats on Court 1 and you also have access to exclusive debenture holder restaurants as part of this (which I can reserve a spot for you at). I should also be able to arrange parking in the debenture holders car park. I'm not a ticket reseller so whilst expensive I expect that my tickets will cost less than the usual corporate channels. Blatmail me if you are interested (and note to the admins if this isn't allowed then please feel free to delete this post!).
  20. Hi John, thanks but I'm looking at a refurb now. Best, Chris
