How hard is it to change the complete engine from a 1.8k xpower 140 over to a 1.8k vvc, would the loom and other bits need changing? Any other bits to be aware of? Alan

Soudal Fix All, you can get it for about £5 a tube, fantastic stuff, I have used it on various things over the years and bonded my wings with it 4 months, 5k miles ago and they are still solid. Just make sure you clean the paint off the stay where you are sticking first. Alan

Hi Smithy, I am led to believe that having it after the primaries means that it reads the correct levels and makes adjustments accordingly rather than just reading from the one primary. It seems worth it for a few pennies to me.

Is there any reason why I can't extend the wires on my existing sensor? Unless someone has a rover EU3 one with a longer length knocking around! Alan

Thanks Nick, that is interesting, when I was undoing mine yesterday they were very tight, I would be amazed if they were only tightened to 34 Nm. Alan

A little bit of info found on PH. Alan Post on behalf of a friend.... In an SLR, how much of a difference do you notice in acceleration terms when the standard screen is removed and replaced with an aeroscreen? Even though the aero jobbie has a slight lip to direct the airflow higher than the drivers ribcage, how much buffeting do people experience? Also, is it advisable to wear a helmet when going sans full screen? (in preference to just goggles)? Thanks all. PS What do 120mph flies taste like?
