  4. hi its a racetech with very, very slight perceptible play on the splines, only by feel when stationary. with momo 3 bolt mount for steeeing wheel .
  5. thanks i will then be selling my removable column and quick release boss ( for momo) if anyone wants to part exchange .
  6. depending upon tyres being used etc, 120mm is quite low. 135mm under the chassis / front engine mount is quite common when using 13" 185/60/13 and should also provide circa 75mm under sump / gearbox and level ish wishbones.

  8. Sensible and conventional mounting point is to remove the nearside horn and use the chassis stud to mount the T piece. you could also use sellotape, chewing gum or cable ties ....
  9. Had my FIA bar done a few months ago, local powder coater outside Cardiff, who had done my wishbones before, he quoted£40 cash. Blast, passivate (sp?) type coat and powder coat in RAL number paint. ps - he did all my wishbones, arb and trailing arms for £60.

  12. sorry if this has been covered but mine was a little reluctant to start until i balanced the roller barrels, now it's 2seconds and away from cold .
  13. there is also an alternative breather plate with the means to attach a length of hose or filter to. It's a good mod as there is lots of crap getting in the gearbox otherwise.

  16. a search for dry sump belt L225 pulls up this : http://www.redlineengines.com/store/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=296 which indicates it's a GM dry sump belt search for 05213 belt pulls up the GM timing belt is there a similarity with your belt the first link ?

  18. following my exprience I agree with rob above, i made a cover for the oil cooler when used on the road and finally removed the cooler and thermostatic plate all together.
  19. oil expands and that is why you should correct the level when hot as per the handbook.

    just for info : the match for mine - caterham Viper blue paint from halfords :BE/96 There are about five viper blues on the system - all subtly different shades so it depends what yours was painted with originally
