  1. Hose I am using is -3 so 3.56 mm ID I am not sure how much a restriction down to 2mm will do but Nick has offered to provide part details (thanks Nick) Andrew
  2. Thanks all - the guys at Think think it is 3/8 UNF If I am using an NRV should I still think about the 'restrictive' fitting that goes into the cam cover - won't the NRV perform a similar function? Ref The_ASH I thought the tope hose to cam cover was an AIR breather so shouldn't be having a full flow of oil?
  3. So I have most of the bits needed but I am still struggling to identify the thread size of the top boss on the apollo tank it is not 1/8 BSP or 3/8 BSF Can anyone help tell me what it is?
  4. Thanks Steve, yes Is there a specific location for the bulkhead fitting into the cam cover ?
  5. Thanks Steve I gave mine a blow and eventually it opened up one way Andrew
  6. Thanks, I also resorted to google and found it shown as M20 x 1.5 Will go and measure the thread (and may do the 'take plug from diff' method) Thanks again Next thread to work out is the top breather hose connection. It doesn't seem to be JIC or metric so could be BSP as per the temp sender
  7. Quoting Wrightpayne 'from memory the drain plug is the same as the sierra diff fill plug.' These seem NLA - are there alternatives for bottom Apollo tank plug or does anyone know the thread size?
  8. Thanks Steve, I have read of some fitting it direct to cam cover although i suspect in line imay be better (especially as you can secure it somewhere and there is less strain on the cover) Does yours have any markings?
  9. Thanks I have the tank plus the sandwich plate and two large hoses (although they have 90 degree fittings both ends so may be from a LHD car) I also have what I believe is a NRV* so now just need to make up the top hose - not sure whether to mount NRV direct to Apollo tank top fitting or direct to cam cover. I assume with NRV I do not need a restricted bulkhead fitting. So what I would like to know what is the thread size of the top tank hole? * What I think is a NRV looks like the images on Think Automotive but has the word HINGE stamped on one of the flats on the hexagonal end pieces - is that to tell me that that end is the INLET end? Finally is there an easy way of finding out the thread size without resorting to detailed measuring and my Zeus chart?
  10. Thanks What do you mean by -3 Also is there anything special with the bulkhead fitting? I heard there was some sort of restrictor in it - I plan to use a non-return valve so maybe that's not an issue
  11. Need some help to identify some bits for Apollo Tank set up (K series) Can anyone advise part number / spec for following 1. Magnetic Drain Plug 2. Fittings for cam-cover end of breather hose 3. Breather hose to cam cover (just the hose not the fittings) thanks Andrew
