  1. Jonathan, I have first 2 editions of the Magnificent Seven by Chris Rees, the 2 books by Jeremy Coulter and the book by John Tipler. There is also a third edition of the Magnificent Seven and C. Rees also published another book "Caterham Sevens". Perhaps in those, there is more information. Cheers
  2. Hi guys, Thanks for all the help. I have got some books but the info is quite often not detailled enough or sometimes confusing. I shall send my e-mailaddress to Simon and Ian. Cheers
  3. The new batch of black - silver stickers are ready. Already 4 sets are gone, so 14 sets remaining. The price is the same as for the green - yellow ones, £6, p&p included. Cheers
  4. Hi everyone, In order to define the specification of my "new" 1990' s Seven (rebuild of 1990' s chassis) I am looking for pictures and information of following Limited Editions: 1. 1.4 K series Roadsport: late 1995 - early 1996. If some-one has pictures or an article of the first demonstrator (yellow car), this would be great. 2. 1.6 K series Superlight first series: from 1997 until ? 3. 1.6 or 1.8 K series Clubsport: 1998 - 1999. To my knowledge only 5 cars were ever built. All the info concerning the original factory specification is welcome! Thanks Jumpin' Jack Flash
  5. Just a quick update that the black - silver stickers will be ready in 2 weeks time. I can do the first postage on Monday 19.12.2016. Cheers
  6. I know that Caterham used different systems over the years. Which is the best? I am not thinking of throttle bodies as on a VHPD, just a standard system with a 48mm or 52mm throttle. Jumpin' Jack Flash
  7. Hi everyone, There is also intrest in black - silver stickers. By mid December I' ll also have a batch of those ones. Please spread the word, so I can recuperate my investment. I sell them at the cost of the material and p&p. The diameter of these stickers is 40mm. They are exact replicas of the original ones used by Caterham in the eighties, early nineties, before they started with the plastic badges on the K Series.
  8. Hi, I have noticed that my last post is not entirely correct. One set of stickers (4 pieces) cost only £6! Two sets cost £12. Already 7 sets green - yellow are gone, I have now 11 sets in stock. Best regards
  9. Hi everyone, I have just collected the stickers. Unfortunately I have to ask £6 for it. The cost of the 3M material has increased. Interested L7C members can send me an e-mail with their address. To make the p&p efficient, I shall send of all orders of the past week on each Monday. Cheers Jumpin' Jack Flash
  10. Hi everyone, I heard that there is again intrest in the classic Super Seven stickers. There are only 2 sets of the black - silver stickers left. If you can wait a couple of weeks, I shall make a new batch. This evening I shall launch an ad in Low Flying. Last remark, I must see how much the 3M material costs. Depending on that, I can calculate the price in £ p&p included Interested buyers can already send an e-mail. Cheers
  11. Hi, Plexus is worth to give it a try. If I don' t get the yellow shine away, it is like that ... Long live the polish community.
  12. Hi, Another polish item, my cup of tea. I stick with the Autoglym kit, a cheaper alternative is Sonax. Before clay got trendy, we used a cleaner, in fact a strong dry polish. The disadvantage is that you also take off a little bit of clearcoat or paint, the advantage is that you eliminate scratches and prepare the paint for polishing. Keep up the cleaning and polishing ..
  13. Hi everyone, I use a mild soap, cotton cloth and microfibre to clean it. It is still shiny, no scratches or stains but the problem is that there is a sort of yellow shade on it. I don' t know Plexus? What is it and where do you get it. Bell has some sort of polish, I reckon that is just a mild glaze polish. Ideas are welcome ...
  14. Hi, Last weekend I was struck by the difference in "white" between my Sparco helmet, carbon aramidic, 5 years old, and new helmets in the shop. Is there a trick to get an older helmet brand new white again? Other tips for cleaning and maintenance of a helmet are welcome. Jumpin' Jack Flash
  15. Hi everybody, Does any-one know the 1994 1.4 K series registration number M851 PHN, first owner Christopher Laing from Saltburn-By-The-Sea? Chassis number: SDKRDKARJP0269100 with engine number KD2691RJ. Colour: BRG or BRG metallic. Thx!
  16. Hi every-one, Just a question that came in my mind Saturday evening when doing a boring motorway from the Belgian coast to the East. Is there any benefit when you already use 98RON? Millers has a couple of products like this. Cheers Jumpin' Jack Flash
  17. Hi Kingsley, I' ll be in the UK next week to have a look at another Seven for sale and for picking up a helmet. When your car is still for sale and if I can manage it all on one day, I would like to have a look at your XFlow too Jumpin Jack Flash
  18. Looking for a couple of parts to complete my Lotus Elise S1 111S, before I start on the next Caterham project. 8x16 alloys with 95.25 PCD, preferably Compomotive MO (5 spoke) Jumpin Jack Flash
  19. For those who also own a Lotus Elise or Exige, a useful link for high quality German shower caps. http://www.showercap.de/ I don' t have shares in this company ... The price / quality is outstanding and they know the word customer focus. In order to match the colour of the cap with the soft top, they sent test pieces of cloth.
  20. Help needed, Can some-one help me to get in contact with Paul Rudler? Thanks
  21. Help needed, Can some-one contact Paul to know a bit more about the spec of his car and the condition of the engine. It is an interesting project for me as long as the engine can be used without extensive rebuild costs. Thanks!
  22. Hi everyone,I am a bit puzzled. Think that the first registration is 1990. I am going to ask the seller a copy of the V5C. When 1990 is right, this could be a good car for me. My calculations for a rebuild project are almost done.
  23. After absence of some years and almost in new Seven ownership, I am happy to join the best club again. For those who know me, the 1999 Elise 111S ,in Motorsport spec stays. The complimentary Seven is coming soon, hopefully. My former Super Seven Twin Cam is happy and alive in the US, cherished by the next custodian.
