  1. Hi everyone, Looking for following parts, in order to get my 2004 K Series Academy back to original / complete condition: 1. Rearview mirror - Sorted. 2. Numberplate light - Sorted. 3. A set of 8 spoke anthracite alloys 6x13 - Not necessary - Sorted. 4. Centre caps for the alloys - Not necessary - Sorted. 5. Nose cone badge and rear badge 6. A passenger side Caterham Tillett seat 7. Carpet (tunnel, rear bulkhead, boot, ...) - Will make a one-off set in the winter myself - Sorted. 8. Plastic centre caps for KN Minator alloys - Sorted.
  2. Hi, These might be good for road use on my ex-racecar. I have the same type in 6x13 for track use. Have you also got the plastic centre caps from those days? Cheers
  3. Hi everyone, I must have missed a couple of answers. Some parts have been sold. I' ll make an update at the end of the month.
  4. Hi everyone, SM25T, Ian, will bring in total 12 green-yellow stickers (so 3 sets of 4) and 24 black-silver stickers (so 6 sets). Since there are no p&p costs, he can sell them for £5 / set. Ian will be at Donington the whole weekend, but it will be easy to find him at the Friday night special display in the museum. Look for the blue metallic SV with registration number K18 RSV. Cheers
  5. Hi, Interested in your set alloys. Have you got the original centre caps from those years, including the badges? Cheers
  6. Hi everyone, SM25T, Ian, will bring the remaining stock to Donington. @b1ggles, one set reserved for you, I' ll send you a message. @Toughie, the same. Cheers
  7. Update on the remaining stock I still have 2 sets of green-yellow stickers and 10 sets of black-silver ones. A set consists 8 stickers. I have to sell them in this quantity otherwise I lose money on the p&p.
  8. It is indeed the blue car, there were some (a lot of) ex-Graduates cars for sale. Owned by Tony Jaffe, but there was another name on it when I saw it last time. So I am only missing the history from the build in 2004 untill the date that Tony started racing with it in the Graduates in 2008.
  9. Charles, Indeed, his car was for sale at McMillan. I am going to try to reconstruct the history when the car was racing in the Academy. Tony told me that he started racing with this car in 2008 in the Graduates.
  10. Roger, Thank you for the offer, but I really haven' t got the time to start racing and prepare for it. When I engage myself in something, I want to do it on a serious level, getting some decent results. Otherwise I only get frustrated. I do not know who was the first owner of my car and who ran it in the Academy. I only know the second owner, Tony Jaff, who raced the car from 2008 in the Graduates. I have asked him this week to gather as much documents as possible. I' ll also ask Caterham for the info they have about the car. Cheers
  11. Thx guys, I have learned a lot. A last question, more an opinion. I would like to run the car on the road on the "standard" Avon CR322 185/70 they used in the Academy. On track it would be the Yoko 048 in 185/60, they use nowadays in the Graduates. With the 185/70, the ground clearance raises with at least 15mm for road use and the yearly MOT, this without touching the suspension. Do you think this is the right choice or are there better options?
  12. Dear Charles, Thank you, this is just the information I was looking for. The reason for asking is that my collection of toys will be enlarged with an ex-Academy car from the 2005 season and I want to know what the original specification was in those days. I shall certainly dig into your blog, great! Personally I like people who document those things 1. Was it allowed to race with a standard seat? Were the race seats supplied by Caterham the Tillett seat they still use? 2. Were the seatbelts the black Caterham - Luke harness?
  13. I am looking for documents, pictures, ... concerning the original Academy 2005 spec. I already have a Caterham spec sheet for the 2004 season, technically those cars were identical to the 2005 season. Especially interested in 2005 spec.: nose badge, rear badges, alloys and tyres, rollover bar and side impact bar, possible options delivered by factory, .. Thx!
  14. Since my new Caterham will be mainly focused on track days, I can return my Lotus Elise S1 111S to full road specification. For sale following parts: - a pair of Raceline RL7 alloys 7.5 x 16 - a Motorsport diffuser See also: https://classifieds.seloc.org/ads/lotus-elise-s1-raceline-rl7-rear-alloys-7-5x16/ https://classifieds.seloc.org/ads/lotus-elise-s1-motorsport-diffuser/ Parts can be delivered to the UK, region Kent - London - Surrey.
  15. Hi Andrew, I still have black - silver stickers. Please write me a mail with your address and I' ll put 2 sets in the post. Cheers
  16. After selling my beloved 1979 LHD Super Seven Twin Cam to the next keeper in the US, I have been very happy with my LHD 1999 Lotus Elise 111S S1, but something was missing ... So after a lot of looking around, searching and experimenting with the rebuild of a crashed Seven, I ended up with this ex-Academy / Super Graduate car. For those who know the car, it belonged to the late Martin Kay. This Seven will be a perfect addition to the Elise. The Lotus will stay in road spec and will be used for longer trips, while the Caterham will be the perfect toy to use in spring and summer for short blats or for a couple of track days. Not to forget, they both have a K Series engine, so being of the same family, they will get along together. The contract has been drawn up and the Seven will be collected in April.

  18. Hi, When looking for (Belgian) MOT compliant mirrors, in combination with an aeroscreen and full rollcage, I stumbled upon a picture or the green Superlight R in the 2002 brochure. This car had large mirrors mounted besides the aeroscreen, not the small race mirrors. These large mirrors probably have EC marking. A must in Belgium. Does anyone know which mirrors Caterham used on that Superlight R? A picture of that car is on my blog: https://www.lotus7.club/blogs/after-5-years-no-seven-next-one-being-put-together Jumpin' Jack Flash
  19. Hi everyone, Just testing the water as they say ... In the next few months I' ll start with some changes on a 12/2004 Academy / Super Graduate I have bought. Goal is to adapt the car more to road use. Parts that will become available are: 1. extinguisher system 2. high level brake lights 3. high level fog light 4. DL1 data logger, transponder, ... 5. Aces shift lights 6. side intrusion bar Any intrest? Jumpin' Jack Flash
  20. We used to have the white square - Union Jack Lotus Seven Club stickers. Does anyone has a couple of them lying around. Being old-fashioned I would like to use it on my new Seven. Or perhaps we can convince the club to make them again ... ?! Cheers Jumpin' Jack Flash
  21. Hi, Just a reminder that there are still enough black-silver and green-yellow stickers available. Cheers Jumpin' Jack Flash
