  1. Thanks Rob. Just this minute completed a similar plan and came up with an almost identical list. Lets go with your plan. We can put on this thread which garages we have when they are allocated.
  2. Paddock plan has been sent through the WhatsApp group
  3. Ok I should read back through the thread! 8 cars per garage.
  4. I have had an email from LDMC telling me that they have prebooked 2 garages for us. You should all have had a separate email as a competitor asking you to consider carefully before trying to book more. Having never been to Anglesey can somebody tell me how how many 7's fit in a garage and how many garages there are in total? I suggest we allocate places in the order of reply to this thread.
  5. The regulations state that you should have a sticker proving that the bar has been certified by MSUK. https://www.motorsportuk.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/155-195-Safety-K.pdf paragraphs 1.5.1 and 1.5.2. This can be obtained from the manufacturer of the roll bar which will be Arch if you have a single diagonal or Caged if you have a double diagonal. http://www.archmotor.co.uk/ https://www.cagedlaser.co.uk/
  6. The FIA bar is only homologated with the petty strut. The sticker will be on the petty strut if you have one.
  7. Excellent pictures, thanks Dave. You must have had a busy day with also helping with the scoring.
  8. Yes Anthony, you will be welcome to camp. The BMMC sprint is taking place on Saturday.
  9. So the entry list seems to be changing daily. Post 1 has the latest version......fingers crossed everybody on there can make it!
  10. Possible final entry list in post 1, still time to enter though.....
  11. Hi Steve V2 helmets start at £239 and are used by a number of us. http://www.v2sport.com/v2-super-vent.html#!/V2-Super-Vent-FIA-8859-2015-SNELL-SA2020-drilled-for-HANS-clips-SATIN-BLACK/p/78959384/category=22435617 As you probably know it is best to try before you buy to make sure of sizing and fit.
  12. For the first time since 2019 we are able to welcome spectators to our club sprint at Curborough on 29th August, a round of the 2021 Northampton Motorsport Lotus Seven Club Speed Championship. The ESV will be in attendance, so why not take the opportunity to make Curborough a blat destination? There you can meet up with both competing and non competing club members. The track action starts at 9:00 am with the practice runs with competitive runs from around 12:00 pm. Entrance is free for spectators.
  13. Alan forget to mention that there is free lunch as well.....
  14. 55 entries now....and another interloper in Class 3
  15. Steve it is a strange anomaly that you have to have a DVLA license for the intro to sprinting, this is because we use our club insurance to cover third party liability. As you probably know you can get an MSUK license at 16 and you are then covered by MSUK insurance in sanctioned events. So your son will be welcome to attend the intro day but unfortunately will not be allowed to drive. Sorry to pit a little damper on things but I am sure he will pick up the driving side really quickly.
  16. Steve As you can probably gather we are a friendly championship and we rely a lot on the honesty of competitors, which works as the competition is very close. We keep an eye on speed trap figures and if we saw your car was significantly faster on the straight than others in the class we would have a word with you. We have never yet asked any competitor to verify the power of their car. Intro to sprinting would be good for you to attend if you have a car by then, 18th September.
  17. Hi Steve As you rightly say it will need a full cage or FIA roll bar with the petty strut and of course the engine will need to go back to Academy spec., 125 bhp, maximum power in class 1 is 130 bhp. You will need different tyres, the Toyo's on the car are List 1b, class 1 is limited to list 1a and almost everybody uses Yokohama A539's. You could probably sell the wheels and tyres on the car and buy wheels with the correct tyres on without any extra cost. We look forward to seeing you both in 2022!
  18. It's really AB, "Mr Compscorer" who did all the work on this and updated his algorithms to produce the corrected scores. We should all appreciate Alan's dedication to keeping all this up to date and producing the easily read charts on the results page. Thanks for the suggestion Simon, something has to change in the regs to prevent this happening again.
  19. 51 entries.....any more? Only just over 4 weeks to go now
  20. Entries now open for rounds 12 and 13 at Blyton. https://www.nottinghamsportscarclub.co.uk/event.php?id=60 Entries will be accepted strictly in order of receipt for the whole event.
  21. No it's a single lap, look in your competitors handbook.
  22. Thanks for the info Shaun, I will check with Longton.
  23. I would like a space too please. I know I should know how this works but I haven't a clue.....first time at Anglesey. Thanks Graham
  24. 45 entries so far, and an interloper in class 1...... .
  25. Chris, Only your seven in the paddock, 3 years since I have been to Loton but parking of tow car and trailer is a bit chaotic, out of the paddock where you can find a space. And not much rain on Sunday according to the BBC....
