Thanks for that Collidog that sorts out the fitting of the new 2017 Caterham brake light kit, like you say not really high level.

Like most members I consider the high level brake light a good piece of safety kit which I am about to fit onto my seven.

Considering the above options-

Those that have fitted the Hella 40 LED or similar are the water proof? and can they be bonded onto the roll bar to give a tidy fix. (Best Bonding agent)

I did consider the  one of the Caterham Unit as currently have a spare wheel fitted but will probably remove it - then I noticed Caterham do a High Level Kit (2017) HLB04K. 

Does anyone have any info on this kit and does it fit directly to the roll bar?- I have standard bar fitted.

If you run with Aero Screen the SBFS long nose shower cap will not fit, unless you have a roll cage - as an aside does anyone make a long nose shower cap for cars with Std Roll Bar running on Aero Screen.

I have noticed that the fuel tank is crimping the supply cable feeding my rear number plate light.

How do I loosen off the fuel tank to release the trapped cable- move it about 6 mm

Thanks Guys I will send it back. I would have thought coming from were it did all would have been spot on.

Just received my throttle cable and it is not the same as fitted to my car, my car has the same cable as shown in REVILLA picture. I also notice that Caterham do not show the type of cable as fitted to both my car and shown by REVILLA.

The one shown for the LHD Vauxhall on carbs have the same ends as mine.

Am I correct in thinking I could just use the inner cable.

Help before I return cable to Bookatrack..

I agree, next base is the way to go I have them in my tin tops for a couple of years. Have Halfords hard wire the units in it makes such a tidy job of it rather than plugging into a cigar lightener.

Currently running my 2005 K series on 15 Wheels and considering moving to 13".

Are my current hubs a Ford? and what size wheel fixings and PCD should I be looking for.

I have installed a low entry full rise scissor lift (Automotech AS -7430H) which  allows a max lift of 1950 mm and gives walk through under the car.

When not is use I just drive on the lift and park up.

If I knew how I could post pictures of the car on the lift-If you live near to West Cumbria (Silloth) more than happy to show around.

My 2005 Caterham is fitted with the 6 speed box.

How often should the gearbox oil be replaced.

What oil should I be using- Caterham state Comma GL4 or GL4 75W80 if post 2013, Is the latter an updated oil or has the 6 speed box been modified since 2013.
