  1. Thankyou Simon and Antony. Will investigate!
  2. HiI think I should have been clearer in my original post that all I want to do is replace the lenses and keep close to the original look. I now discover that there was a group buy before I joined the club that is exactly what I want. I have contacted the original organiser but I am not hopeful because it was back in 2013 that it was arranged! cheers, Julian
  3. If there is still any left I'd love a pair too please?
  4. Whilst waiting for Carbon Mods to make some more CF lightblocks I have started looking at new rear light lenses. I would like to change away from the standard since my Seven has been de-oranged everywhere else. I am not too keen on the all clear rear lights with the red reflector in the middle. Does anyone do the red stop/tail light and reflector with clear for the indicators? Or are there any other options I should know about?
  5. Super, thanks gents. Will give them a clean and cover them up to protect. Cheers
  6. I don't know why, I didn't want to make a schoolboy error. Thanks though.
  7. Hi Is it okay to store my spare set of wheels / tyres in my shed [actually its a summerhouse ]? I'd rather not have to keep them in the utility room all the time, my only other option. Thanks.
  8. Blue with silver stripe Roadsport? Forest Row A22 passing the Swan pub at about 2.45pm Saturday afternoon. We exchanged
  9. At about 7.20am, you were just leaving the cash machine, we exchanged Great day for it!
  10. WD40 should get the worst out, sunshine and warmth will clear it away, and finally the furniture polish SM25T just mentioned gives it a lovely finish.
  11. Hi Spotted you again this morning about 200yrds from where I saw you yesterday but today I from my Seven
  12. Hi White with Green stripes heading south near the police training facility at Duddleswell, Thursday at 7.45am. I from my black 1 series. Fab day for it, shame I was not in mine Cheers, J
  13. Hi Fraser Super to meet you earlier this week, shame you didnt come in yours too! We had a great time looking around Portmerion thanks to the very welcoming and enthusiasic staff there. They allowed us in; we caused chaos and drew much attention including being asked by an American lady where she could hire one of these funny little cars. Huge thanks to Steve Mell for his part in this too The Sevens (its the cars name, not a number) are Linda B's grey Roadsport VVC, Bob and Dianes R400D and my Roadsport 140. Cheers, J
  14. Thankyou for the help again gents but so long as this one lasts a couple of months 'til I get a chance to go mechanical, it will do! Cheers
  15. It is only easy to do if you have a thin enough spanner and right now, I don't! Thanks Cookie, will check them too. Double choc chip per chance.
  16. Richard advocated removing the anti roll bar to me too but only having had my car for a short period at the time I didn't want to start experimenting before I knew what it was like "as is" Thanks Mankee. Will have another try!
  17. Hi My rear suspension used to knock when going on and coming off power, not necessarily driving hard. I took it to Richard at Automotive Eng last year for service and suspension setup and the knock dissapeared. Well, now its back. I put my Seven up on ramps today and it appears to be the bolts are not snugged up on the anti roll bar, there is certainly some play between the bush and the arm with the holes in. Does my diagnosis appear plausible or is something else more likely? If so, how do you do it up? The nut just spins in the droplink! Thanks
  18. Oil pressure paranoia ends again..., for a while anyway New EOPG sender fitted, good news it is literally a 5 minute job. Next time I will have the MOPG kit here ready. EOPG sender gets sent back to CC for credit tomorrow.
  19. Ps. Thanks Ian, I will be ordering the contents from Think except the gauge
  20. Hi I was not aware of the remote adaptor (which does not appear to be on CC website) but I will be going mechanical in due course anyway. CC have agreed to credit me the faulty sender unit when it is returned after I have fitted Its replacement. Until I can do that, natural paranoia has set in about the state of my engine. I am sure it will be fine...., he says!

    Worthing

Hi, that was me. Just nipping down to Worthing for some juice before going to see my Elise mate in Storrington
  22. I will go mechanical but not right now. I have been trying to get hold of CC spares/parts numerous times today. Ended up leaving a message. I'll try again tomorrow if I don't hear anything. BTW, mine is M12. On the subject of mechanical gauges, does anyone know if these are a direct replacement for the standard CC unit?
  23. Hi I know this parts reputation having now owned 4 of them in my Seven since I have had it [almost exactly one year] but this last one takes the biscuit. CC reciept dated 23/4/15, I fitted it on 24/4/15. I have been on several local blats, done Dunsfold and today a trackday [my first, at Goodwood ]. The gauge, with a hot engine is reading just over 2 bar at 3000rpm, just under 2 bar at idle. Many will say, go mechanical, and I will, but right now, I just dont have time to do it! Is 1 month and a day a record for this part? J
