    Wheel torque

Hi What is the correct torque to do up my new Apollo alloys please? Thanks, Julian
  4. I know Alan, I did a search and saw your ad. Never mind, still looking for the right one!
  5. Hi Well found. I knew they were heavier which was disappointing but they are supposed to be better and my new lighter rims will counteract that increase a little. Also, confidence in CR500 was at a low point due to splitting inside walls on my 2012 set
  6. I have been advised that WD40 is okay.
  7. Hi Strange how the smaller tyre is the same for ZZR and ZZS but the 215 is markedly different! J
  8. Hi I bought mine from BMTR. http://bmtrracing.com Cheers, Julian
  9. Hi AdC ZZS 185/55x13 7.65kg ZZS 215/55x13 8.80kg Cheers, Julian
  10. Either I suppose but ideally to sit in over the carpet
  11. Anyone? Or less obvious suggestions as to where to look would be welcome? Thanks.
  12. 2012 would be ideal. Pepper white, chilli red, eclipse grey or electric blue. Thanks.
  13. Perhaps contact the previous owner/s?
  14. Thanks for the information gents. Seems they are quite available, BMTR have them in stock too
  15. Hi This morning I nipped down to CC (main reason was to take back a flawed diamond cut Apollo wheel ) and had a good look at several cars running ZZR (same profile as ZZS) and a chat with eternally helpful Dominic. We had a look at wingstays together, including my own, and established I am not going to have a problem. Also, I had a chance to look at both ZZS and CR500 fronts. Conclusion, the ZZS are slightly heavier. But they look so good like you say, so will get a set when they are available J
  16. Morning gents. 5.1mm away sounds okay. I wonder if my wingstays have been fitted incorrectly since logic tells me, mine would be closer with ZZx. I'll have a post-blat look later this morning. Regarding the weight thing, I am a little unsure what to do. If I can still get CR500 I think I should? Was thinking later designed ZZS should be better but if they are heavier I'm not so sure. It's daft, CC proclaim new lighter wheel for 2014 (the Apollo) but then we fit heavier tyres J

    Tyre Options

Hi Is there a consensus here with ZZS vs CR500 whilst we still just about have the option? Does anyone know what the weight difference is (13")? I was just about to order a set of ZZS and am now having itchy feet! Cheers
  18. Hi Yes sure. I can weigh them on the post room scales at the office I hope the ZZS are not too heavy. I wonder if I should be sticking with CR500's for longer if they are?
  19. Cool, should be the same then. Thanks
  20. Hi Just a thought, what wheels do you have? If the offset is greater than CC standard [ET24?] that may be why you dont have a problem? Cheers,J
  21. Great thanks. Let me know. In the meantime I have ordered my new wheels [CC new style black/diamond cut] and now BMTR are out of ZZS until nexr week .
  22. Hi, thanks... So, the new tyre is 12mm wider which means it will sit closer to the wingstay by 6mm? So will I really end up with 2.5mm clearance? Or what am I missing here?
