What price do they charge? That price is just based on discounting from the caterhamparts website.

  4. Is this still available? If so can you send me some picture? thx
  5. Hi Nigel, I don't have any to hand but I haven't put the old pedal back in my car yet. I will take some photos for you when I do. Chris
  6. For anyone that cares... I spoke to the parts dept at Dartford this morning. It turns out that there is both a metric and imperial pedal, both which can be used on my chassis however, the imperial pedal requires bending to make it fit correctly. They also mentioned that the spacers should be used with both the metric and imperial pedal, although they are in the process of designing one that doesn't require the spacers.
  7. not really, i have taken it apart. the photos i have included do highlight the issue.
  8. I am trying to replace the standard brake pedal with the high effort version but the pedals don't quite line up (see pictures below). I did actually manage to get the pedal in but the piston appears to be on the absolute limit (second picture) and almost stressed so i took it out. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
  9. I am changing my brake pedal. Can someone tell me the correct torque setting for the bolt? thanks
  10. I found this website, http://www.myothercarsa2cv.co.uk/howto/adjplatforms.htm I think I'll give this a try. Fingers crossed! Thanks all.
  11. Not sure to be honest. I'll have to take another look tonight. It's just the standard adjustable blistein damper.
  12. Do I need a spring compressor to take it apart?
  13. Hi All, The ride height at the rear of my car is too high but the dampers are at the maximum. Is there a way to adjust this? Sorry the photo is on its side but it rotated when I uploaded it.
  14. Good colour choice. :-)
  15. Hi Sharpy, that was probably me. Just got back from a few track days in Europe but used someone else's car and didn't take my car. I felt like it needed a good hiding so it wasn't jealous. Were you one of the guys trailering yours?
  16. Sigma Ti-VCT (2015) standard ecu - I don't know what that is.
  17. The engine management light has come on in my car. I assume that it need to be hooked up to a computer to find out what is wrong? I have been waiting two days for Caterham to call me back without success. As usual, lots of apologies but no action... Can anyone suggest another company who would be able to look at this in the Caterham/Kenley area?
  18. Jonathan, about a half turn or so on the bolt you can see in the picture was enough. I screwed them out and back in so they were tight but not causing it to stick. Then I added a dot of loctite and marked them with a pen so that I can check them to see if they are moving.
  19. Giles, Tom was spot on. Just incase someone else has this issue. The problem is with the two bolts on the opposite side of the spindle. A half turn on these was enough to free it. This picture shows the throttle stuck on, and I have circled the bolts that needed adjusting. Thanks all for you help!
  20. Thanks for the message, Giles. I will keep you updated.
  21. I have removed the throttle cable and it's not the pedal. I then removed the join between the two levers so they move independently to see which is stiff, the one that connects to the throttle cable moves freely and always returns to the close position. The other one, when push open remains open, I then have to give it a push before it releases, so I know it is that mechanism/spring. It doesn't appear to be catching on anything, which, is why I think I need to take it apart, but I'm a bit reluctant to do that since I'm not entire sure what is holding it all together.
  22. So, the spring that is stiff is the one that isn't directly attached to the throttle cable. That one and the cable itself move freely. It looks like it is all held in place with a grub screw. Has anyone taken this apart before. Am I going to have trouble putting it back together?
