Tony C
Is there a rolling road with resident webber set-up expert within reasonable reach of Wantage, Oxfordshire that can be recommended 😬 BRG Brooklands SV 😬 It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. Graham Sewell
ijk, Is that a testimony that they are any good? Have you used them personally? Cheers, Graham Low tech luddite - xflow and proud!
Robster
Pitsop in Brize Norton are very good, I have had several RRs done over the years, this is the only one that I have ever been really pleased with! Their number is 01993 850654, Unit 1, Viscount Court, Station Road, Brize Norton, Oxon, OX18 3QQ.
Griff
Have you tried Vircuit Motors near Castle Combe circuit (J17, M4). The old guy there used to set up the twin Dellortos on my Alfa when nobody else could and I think he does Webbers too. Could combine it with a track day to see whether he did a good job!
Ferrino
I'm also interested to hear testimonies of Weber-competent RRs in the South Oxforshire/Berkshire area.
Graham Sewell
I know that it is always easier to knock than to praise, but just had a quick look at the Clifford Cox web site and was dismayed to find that: "We carry large stocks of Webber, Dellorto and SU Parts to assist in correctly calibrating , tuning and rebuilding you carburetors" If they cannot be bothered enough to spell Weber correctly, what chance have they got with something that takes real knowledge. Low tech luddite - xflow and proud  Edited by - Graham Sewell on 22 Apr 2004 12:19:
Tony C
Not to mention: quick, carburettors and cannot 😬 BRG Brooklands SV 😬 It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. Roger King
When I worked for Dealer Team Vauxhall in the 80's, we had a private rally Chevette in for some work. It was sponsored in great big text by a company claiming to be 'Carburretor Specialists'.
Eccles
I have also used Pitstop in Brize Norton a couple of times and have been very pleased with the results on my X-flow.
