Geoff Martin
I thought I’d change my switches round as they weren’t in the correct orientation. I also thought I’d remember what goes where, ( I can hear the sniggering) but I don’t. I have tried multiple ways of plugging it all back together, but all seem to get is blown fuses😔 I am loosing the will to live now and must admit defeat. Can anyone shed some light on what colour wires go where please. My car is a 2000 K Series Superlight. The switches I have issues with are: brake test, fog light, hazzard lights and heated screen. Jonathan Kay
1 I have the factory wiring diagrams (and some amendments). Please send me a Private Message with your email address. 2 Caterham usually followed the "standard" British wiring colours. 3 Do you have a multimeter? Miker7
I can take photos of the back of my switches from my 51 plate tomorrow if you need them. Not sure how blurry they'll be. Send me a private message if you do need them.
Wrightpayne
This might help…. fog light and heated screen are effectively the same on/off switch. The hazard has 6 wires so easy to spot the loom plug.

Check that all relevant earths are good. Then check again. The fog light probably only comes on with dipped headlamps. The hazard light switch is notorious for internal failure. (A better circuit is available, but I wouldn't change anything until it's working as in the factory diagram.) ... A smartphone can be convenient when looking behind an (unexposed) dash. SM25T
The connections for the switch lighting circuit are very close to the cut out in the dash. Very easy to short when moving switches. Wonder if a loose strand touching dash ? 6 minutes ago, Jonathan Kay said:
