Mark Durrant
...so who has the honour of the trowel at Loton Park, before the final run I believe Graham Howard was on course to display it for the first time
OliW
A certain Mr Smith is holding it presently. The previous borrower (me) obviously didn't complete his research, but I think missing a whole corner is probably justification for carrying said item! Graham Howard
I was just trying a slightly tighter line at Farmhouse . I belive that at least 2 others in class 2 left the tarmac on that run. Not a clear cut decision....
Jeff S
I'll gladly pass it on if required!Just a bit of late braking for the start of the esses meant I missed a bit out as witnessed by Mr Margel.Mr Horne went the wrong side of the finish line cone and received a written card from the organisers that his time would not count! An enjoyable day at Harewood only ruined by someone in class 3 going too fast.... again Jeff(Do the smileys in the text work??)
robmar
it is amazing what you see down at the esses, interesting set of techniques and lines by some....especially the class 1 drifters....
Geoff Corker
At least I am not in the running this time. Drove so slowly that there was always plenty of tarmac between me and the green stuff! Great weekend.
Jeff S
Some evidence of Graham from becky's photo's https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10100898243581392&set=a.10100898239549472.1073741825.193111221&type=3&l=33ff326424&theater
OliW
You can't get rid of it that easily Jeff! (Actually, I think you can on the basis that Graham's effort was later on in the day).
Simon.Rogers
Terrible behaviour! Yet another red car on the grass!
Graham Howard
OK I give in. Nice photos Becky. There will inevitably be several people mising their braking at Fallow this weekend so the trowel should be easy to pass on.
Alan Bowler
Always plenty of scope for grass track racing at Fallow. Wish I was going
Support Team rob spencer Posted August 5, 2015 Support Team Share Posted August 5, 2015 I can't let Graham carry the yellow trowel at Loton without me having first admitted to a straight on moment on the last run (just after Graham) at Country. But:1.I'll be in France for the Loton event and2. I was made to carry the pesky implement at Llys y Fran after Llandow when no tyre even touched the grass (not to mention the wholly unjust award of the Golden trowel last season )So its all your Graham
Cookie Monster
I think I can righfully claim to have had the first off at Harewood on Sunday - first practice off at Country. Pesky crest stopped me from realising the bend came up quite so quick! That'll teach me not to walk the course (again) & only view Andrew W's you tube clip for preparation! Not going to Loton though.... AntonyH
Some evidence of Graham from becky's photo'sI've got some very similar... I think we were stood about 6 feet apart at the time!A few from some other redefinitions of track limits, too.
