Graham King
Zetec, fitted one to my brother's K-Series, much the same reasons as you really, it worked fine, oil warm up much quicker, kept track day oil temps under control nicely, only slight downside is that it drops the oil pressure by approx 1/2 bar. Any specific questions feel free to ask. Graham
Support Team Shaun_E Posted April 7, 2015 Support Team Share Posted April 7, 2015 I ran one on a K series for a couple of years before going dry sump and it was very good at keeping oil temps down as well as a quicker warm up. You need to be sure your radiator can cope though - a std Caterham radiator in good condition should be fine.I have one on my Duratec now and it is also performing well in conjunction with a Radtec radiator.I sourced mine from Think Automotive who can supply all the hoses and fittings as well. Both cars have used the C43-180 Laminova.
John Vine
I fitted one to my old 1.8K SS-R, and very good it was too, for the reasons you suggest. I used the 180 size.Do you have an Apollo as well? (If "zetec" indicates your engine, maybe you don't?) Anyway there are some Laminova fitting instructions here.JV
