Q Catcher
Trailered the car today. Given the weather, I put a SBFS shower cap on the car*, but the buffeting has caused the shower cap to scuff the driver's side screen with a million tiny scratches in one smallish area, causing it to look 'milky'. Can anyone recommend any cleaner/polisher that will buff the scratches out and make the side screen clear again? *We did the same thing on the Motorail last year, with no ill effects, so I wasn't expecting damage due to buffeting. Bother.
Ian B
Apparantly Autoglym Car Glass Polish will do the job. Watch the video from here
TJG
I've used this before to good effect. Tony
Stationary M25 Traveller
Renovo plastic window polish is good. I think AutoGlym Super Resin Polish is even better. Do inside and out. Also makes polycarbonate headlamps crystal clear too
Member Jonathan Kay Posted May 10, 2014 Member Share Posted May 10, 2014 Lots on this in the archives: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I don't know of any side-by-side comparisons. Autoglym and Renovo probably recommended most often. Jonathan
