Geoff Wilcx
Having just finished a 7day rebuild of my 7 which ncluded full respray to change the colour I was looking for opinions on best way to keep all the carbon bits looking good. This includes new carbon dash, front / rear wings - and reused aero and nose cone. I'd previosly used a ''black'' mixture from RiF - anyone know what was in that?
Eugene
I use 'back to black' bumper/plastic polish...

Geoff Wilcx
Cheers guys - from what I remember Back to Black had a similar quality to RiF's polish - I use AutoGlyms Bumper Restorer for the centre tunnel cover - not thought of trying it on the carbon - I'll give it a whirl. AndrewGP
This weekend I used (and I kid you not) peanut butter 😬 Honestly I did. And the result, genuinely, was briliant. I used it on the rear arch protectors and on my cycle wings and I'm pretty impressed. Smells nice too 😬
The Pikey
Autoglym Showshine is brilliant for carbon. It's in an aerosol and does not turn any pin holes white. It's about 6 quid and lasts ages. Jason Edited by - Jason Fletcher on 3 May 2011 00:59:
Loverobot
I have been using poorboys natural look and it seems good - also smells lovely!
Markiebabes
Jason with you on the showshine it's one of the things I use, great on the aero as well. On older carbon I use a gel from nielsen(similar to AutoGlym bumper gel) works well at bringing it back to life 😬 and lasts ages  tip: use a sponge with the gel as it gets into all the nooks and crannies
jakeandlizzy
Yep, I use basically the same thing, albeit called 'Armor All' dash/interior shine stuff (from the Air Base). Should be the same as the autoglym vinyl cleaner. Â ....the resin used is just plastic!
Roger Ford
This weekend I used (and I kid you not) peanut butter Smooth or crunchy? I trust you've fitted a large sticker - "Caution - may contain nuts" on the rear?
