  4. Before listing on P/H I thought I'd see if there was any interest here. This is my second Radical - great cars but I've decided I've had my aero fix and its time to focus more effort on my Caterham and "New Project". If you're thinking about a Radical then this is a rare opportunity to get in on the scene - If you were not thinking - then maybe this will be the time to give it a thought. The SR4 is two seater and this one will be available with comprehensive race spares package....including many sets of mag split rim wheels slicks - wets - spare bodies - gear sets - dampers - springs - etc etc. Please PM me for full specification and further information. 6. Just replaced my dash with carbon - I drilled the pop rivets out and replaced around the top of the front bulkhead / firewall with M4 riv Nuts and screwed back in place with M4 Hex Dome Heads - means future removal will just be 10 minute job of removing the Dome Heads and two nuts on either site of the scuttle. Check the fit of your dash as I've just noticed that mine was not correctly trimmed to shape - given the price of the carbon its C@@P quality really. Also check the weave pattern as again there's a flaw in mine.
  7. Just completed the rebuild of a 2003 Acadamy Car. This involved a full repaint and change of colour.....light blue to dark metalic grey. The car looks like new and I can find no imperfections. I removed wings - skuttle and interior leaving the suspension in place. They removed all poppers - inerior panels and got all the original mask lines spot on - so the original colour has all gone and there are no signs of overspary. I used a local paint shop in Sutton - Ely - Cambs who I have to say did an excellent job....whats more they were very competitive and kept to their appointment turning the car around in 3 days. 8. Just ordered myself a set with 225 / 140 fitted with the upgraded Eibach springs. Promised to be shipped before the end of the week - great service - now to get myself booked up for setup and corner weighting...... Edited by - Geoff Wilcx on 3 May 2011 14:50:33
  9. Cheers guys - from what I remember Back to Black had a similar quality to RiF's polish - I use AutoGlyms Bumper Restorer for the centre tunnel cover - not thought of trying it on the carbon - I'll give it a whirl.
  10. Having just finished a 7day rebuild of my 7 which ncluded full respray to change the colour I was looking for opinions on best way to keep all the carbon bits looking good. This includes new carbon dash, front / rear wings - and reused aero and nose cone. I'd previosly used a ''black'' mixture from RiF - anyone know what was in that?
  11. This is the rare tall version - complete with all fittings - removed from a 2003 Academy Car. Buyer to collect from ELY Cambs. Asking £225
  12. Popped into the Gun Room whilst SWMBO shopped for yet more essential horse accessories. Must find some time to go clay bashing now the fine weather is here.
  13. I thought the office looked out towards the back LOL You should have dropped tools and joined them - I could then have posted a spotted for 14 ;-)
  14. So whats the project then Jake - an ejector seat for when the passenger does not scream enough in appreciation of your driving? Do tell :-
  15. Quoting jakeandlizzy: Geoff, I will see what is on mine--think 5/8" and it is fine. I will check the colour tomorrow to confirm. On the road, I think the rear has made more of a difference. It is on full hard at the moment, which is way too bumpy. Full soft is rather comfortable though, but a bit squishy for my liking. Cheers Jake - I liked your set-up at Snett the other week - which seemed much softer than my set-up. As said great on the track but no fun for driving these Fen Roads.
