RussJing
Hi everyone , I am about to replace my Banner Battery with the recommended PowerVamp replacement . This battery is approximately 50mm. narrower than the Banner when installed (length & height OK). Does anyone have any ideas how to make it fit more securely ? Maybe some sort of packing etc. All the Best Russ .
myothercarsa2cv
Hi Russ, A couple of us have similar sized batteries, and a lump of wood is one solution... However, I've just bought from OBP a nice little ali tray designed to fit and I intend to bung it on the bulkhead. Bit of foam padding to stop it rattling and jobs a good'un. This is what I got. It arrived in less than 24 hours
Pete-B
I did the same project, I laid the Powervamp down and adjusted the Banner battery holder with a hacksaw to fit. The top bracket didn't quite meet so I made a spacer up with a bit of 1/4" tube with a bolt through.
jakeandlizzy
I have what John has...works a treat and looks the part. Mine is mounted to the horizontal bulkhead and my emerald rests on it. 4 rivnuts and you are good to go.

mattobrien
I went down the route of buying their Ali cage / holder - fits nicely and lean weigh much. Matt
