hendrixswhitestrat
Evening all Quick query..my S3 Supersprint is blowing at the manifold (gasket is crumble ing from whatr I can see) ☹️ ...anyone know where I can source a decent copper-type replacement rather than one of those crappy composite efforts? Any help much appreciated ! HWS _________________________ Guitars, cars and whisky in the jar..what else is there ?

alextangent
Or Vulcan. Make sure you get the kind that has gasket between 2 & 3. The std gasket doesn't separate them, and I had to get my headers machined because of the metal being eaten away by the hot exhaust gases with the crappy originals. And follow the instructions; you'll need a blowlamp to make them cherry red before fitting. Once fitted, you will never have problems ever again; they're excellent. And reusable if you're not too exuberant with the exhaust sealing gunk; they just need a light smear. Alex McDonald Loud, louder, loudest... LesG
I used the 7 Workshop's copper race gaskets, quality item and re-usable to boot.
Clousta
When I called the 7 workshop about a month ago they were waiting for stock to come in. I will try then on Monday. Gordon C
Tried the cheaper foil style gasket, copper gaskets all to no avail. Turned to the Vulcan gasket with a light smear of sealer for good measure........Job done _________________________ Gordon.
