Gary, investigate tunnel top replacement. A standard stick straight in the box will feel much better. A rosejointed stick makes for a superbly positive gearshift.
Cheers Tom, son is building a cheap car, initally crossflow running a downdraught as the early cars did, so something its not really a huge issue cutting a big hole in the top of, regards, Ed
Don't bin it Anthony. Quite fancy seeing if I could use it to make a half hood to fit over tall cage. Bought an old cast iron sewing machine to do some yacht bits, and I think that would sew this. Pick up some time soon, ta, Ed
My lad is building a budget car. Axle case in place, but after a diff and halfshafts please if anyone would like to de-clutter the garage. A complete spare axle considered, thanks.
Any thoughts on this being due to airspeed over the filter eroding it? Sitting in a draught of up to 70 mph I would guess would wear away the foam quite quickly
Interested in the Ford Sierra brochure, and the Vizard book please. I unfortunately have a similar huge magazine collection that appears virtually worthless, Regards, Ed
Arch will amost certainly be the cage manufacturer. Sounds like a tall roadsport cage. Just what i've got on mine. Great if you are tall with std floors
Just in case of use, and for an emergency jobbie, Halfrords do a small cover that fits over a 7 cage really well. About £15 if memory serves, regards, Ed
Hi Lewis, pm your email and i'll send a pic of one in mine. Cushion under your bum, single piece back with tunnel cut out behind you. Black vinyl. I find them very comfy, neat, and a cheapish alternative to a new tillett etc for an occasional passenger?
