  1. A great result - I'm a very proud Dad .
  2. Brilliant news, Jeff - welcome to a very exclusive sub-group in the Lotus Seven Club ! I can heartily recommend grandfatherhood, and I'm sure that, like me, you'll make a very sensible, sober grandad (cue for howls of laughter from my offspring!). I'm sure that you'll ensure that little Charlie's brought up in the faith, and if he's anything like my Thomas he'll be besotted by grandad's little car. Best wishes, and make a really good job of the head-wetting. Andrew
  3. Couldn't agree more, Malcolm . Well said. Andrew
  4. It's also got a tax disc - see LHS photo.
  5. Oops ! Seemed to forget who I was in the above post. Who's been posting from my computer? Andrew (I think!)
  6. Three participants from the Speed Championship sporting handsome 'taches here. (I reckon the middle one's by far the best looking!). A fabulous response to my campaign has now made £650 for Movember, funding vital research for men's cancers - thanks everyone 😶‍🌫️. If you've not had the chance to contribute to this wonderful cause yet just click on the 'donate' button - it would be great to reach a grand by the end of the month. Thank you Andrew
  7. We're not going to be able to make it, I'm afraid. Best wishes to everyone for a great evening, and congratulations to all class winners, especially Tom in Class 3 😶‍🌫️. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year. Andrew
  8. Now with Seven 🥰 content here! Andrew
  9. Brilliant response from my sprinting chums - thank you! I know a lot a blokes are doing the Movember campaign including other Club members, but if you've not contributed to this great cause yet visit here. Beware, now includes more ugly content! 😳 Thank you Andrew Edited by - Andrew Willoughby on 9 Nov 2011 16:55:34 Edited by - Andrew Willoughby on 9 Nov 2011 16:56:45 Edited by - Andrew Willoughby on 9 Nov 2011 16:57:19
  10. I'm not at all surprised that you've had such interest, Nick - it's a great car at a good price. I can understand your mixed emotions - I really missed this car when I sold it and I have many happy memories of blatting through the Lincolnshire Wolds in it. Andrew
  11. Following Flymo's magnificent efforts a couple of years ago 😶‍🌫️ I've decided to take his lead and do the Movember campaign. I'm currently growing a stunning 'tache for November and am looking for sponsorship for prostate and testicular cancer research. Having had a brush with PC myself a few years ago I felt it was high time that I gave something back. See here for my home page. This gives all details of Movember and shows how you can contribute to help beat these men's cancers. Thanks in anticipation Andrew
  12. You can add my name to the list of illustrious ex-owners . I bought the car from Millwood in September 2003 after it was sold by Mike Henman and had it for about 18 months. Eventually I sold it because it wasn't getting enough use, but it was an absolutely brilliant car and it still sounds to be in great condition. Good luck with the sale - if I wasn't now involved in the Club's Speed Championship I'd be seriously tempted. Andrew
  13. Yes! - I'm doing it this year If you'd like to see my page click here Andrew
  14. Congratulations to all winners at Anglesey, especially to Tom for securing the Class 3 championship 😶‍🌫️. It's felt strange not competing in the last few meetings, but Matthew and I look forward to a much fuller diary of events next year. Best wishes to all - can't wait for next April! Andrew
  15. Sadly, my PB at Curbs was a 64.49 in May 2010, Paul, so no threat to the record. Are you confusing my time at Loton which was 63.40 in 2009? Andrew
  16. What's all this? - you mean someone in Class 3 has really bought you a nice Class 4 or 5 car?! 😳 I wonder if the benefactor could perhaps stretch to finding one for R Price & Son while he's at it!
  17. Congratulations to all competitors at Loton. Times tumbled for many, and Richard's 56.60 was stunning! 😶‍🌫️ I'm delighted that Matthew's final run in his car was so good - it can now go happily into retirement in the mountains of sunny Spain. My best run pales into insignificance when compared to those at the top of Class 3 but I include it as an example of a messy approach to the hill! Andrew
  18. On the nosecone so that the paddock marshals can identify you from the front of the car. Don't need to be full size numbers - I make some (rough) ones out of black tape. See you there! Andrew
  19. A great day of competition, and congratulations to Mark on another brilliant win. Class 3's a great place to be this year with so much close competition. Like Mark, I don't know how I'm going to cope with a 6 week gap! Andrew
  20. Sad day, Neil ! - things won't be the same without Flymo ☹️! Sometimes needs must and all that, though, so good luck with the sale - someone's going to get a cracker of a buy. Do come along and see all of the old gang soon. Andrew
  21. It's all been said already, but just to add my thumbs-up for a brilliant weekend . I'm still trying to come to terms with the challenges presented by the many excellent competitors in Class 3 😶‍🌫️, but it's great fun learning! Special congratulations to Mark and Suzanne who had a spectacularly good weekend. Can't wait to get back to Gurston for another go! Andrew
  22. Thanks from Lisa and me, Kevin - much appreciated. Andrew
  23. Hi Kevin We were in orange car 742/42. Thanks very much! Andrew
  24. Great to be back at Glorious Goodwood with all the guys 'n' gals, and particularly to be competing in the same class as Matthew again. Just wish I could get closer to his times - that second run was brilliant 😶‍🌫️! I think I shall have to get Mel to feed him a lot more pies ! Andrew
