    Back ache

I suffered a damaged back in a serious crash 20 years ago when my stationary car was hit from behind by a fast moving lorry and rammed into the car in front. Since then my back has been very sensitive to my sitting position. Before I bought my Seven, I tried out 10 or more different cars and couldn't get comfortable. But LE0, with cloth seats (had leather in the previous one), has been supremely comfortable, providing I sit solidly against the seat back, then it provides all the support I need. However, I've twice suffered backache in the Seven, and each time it was because the seatback had broken - it's not obvious, unless you can hear/feel it give as you sit in it. Don't know how old your seats are, but it might be worth a check. LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen Edited by - Anton on 16 Jun 2010 02:52:30

    Sunday

On the A25, several individual Sevens heading east and one in company with a Cobra - we were in the silver SV going the other way. What a perfect day! *thumbup* LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  3. Must be the weather - shed's pretty full in the winter, but when the sun's out we're all too busy blatting to call in 😬 LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen

    Another red 21?

29th April - Had a glimpse of what looked like the back end of a red 21 on the way out of the Unilever car park heading for Springfield Drive on our campus in Leatherhead. Could it be we have a third Caterham on this site? *thumbup* LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen Edited by - anton on 1 May 2010 20:37:56
  6. For the guys who've had their foam reach the crispy crumbly stage: how often/at what mileage do you change your baffle? LE0 gets a change every 12,000 miles (roughly once a year) and I've never found the baffle to be anything other than discoloured brown - it doesn't feel any different from the new foam (except that it is oily) and won't break up if you try to crumble it. Haven't been to a Surrey Sevens meet for ages. And unfortunately I work in Leatherhead, and would drive straight from there.......... We'll keep our eyes skinned for you! LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen

    several spots

We're off the Croydon Road on the way to Carshalton. LE0 is titanium - a dark silver, with a colour coded roll bar. He's a battered old SV approaching two milestones - 7 years of age and 70,000 miles! LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen

    several spots

Blue with silver stripe, driver and passenger waving enthusiastically, on the Croydon Road heading east between the Plough and the Purley Way early this afternoon. Between 4:30 and 6 PM on A 25 outside the Godalming Inn - several going both east and west (we were enjoying a meal in the pub garden) - at least one was black or dark blue - couldn't see the other clearly enough. 10. Just to clear my name ('cos I'm fairly considerate towards cyclists, having been one myself) LE0 (LE 03 OVM) has been on the Wightblat all weekend - so has he been cloned?????? LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen

Spotted yesterday on our way home from the WightBlat - a red Seven heading north on Farm Lane, Ashtead. Were you on your way back as well? LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen

    Midsomer Murders

I'm sure I saw a red 7 in an advert tonight for Midsomer Murders - anyone else notice it? LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  17. Around 3:00 pm today: dark metallic blue, coming onto Summer Hill by Chislehurst Common - we were in the pale blue Mazda 2 passing in front of you towards Sidcup. My wife is sure she's seen you before around there. LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  18. Hi Jon - SWMBO has one of those ......... but it wasn't her LE0's there come rain or shine (or snow for that matter), but is beginning to look a little worn as a result ☹️ LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  19. Redline Components Ltd at Caterham - but only on working days. Email: sales@redlinecomponents.co.uk http://www.redlinecomponents.co.uk/ Should have read right throught the posting, shouldn't I! 21. Spotted by SWMBO today around 1:30 travelling across Hayes Common, a red Seven registration probably Q186GPD - she was in a pale blue Mazda 2. LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  22. And just in case some light-fingered gentleman does manage to take it - what about a tracker? LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  23. Stu - don't think the vibration is such a problem, just that the view's not good. My mirrors are standard, I can see a reasonable, if rather small area in the driver's side mirror, but the passenger's side one is completely useless. Though the fact that I am a bit on the short side (a match for Colin chapman!) and drive an SV may mean it is perhaps badly positioned as I have my seat about three inches forward of the rear bulkhead. I'd hate to try driving it abroad! LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
  24. Trick with the main roof is to warm it up before you put it on if you can, fully lower the sticks, fix it to the windscreen first, then the back, and finally the sides. Happy blatting.................... LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen Edited by - Anton on 14 Nov 2009 18:41:49
  25. Hi James, welcome to the madhouse! I'm in Kelvin - where are you? You'd be surprised how snug the half roof is - only time you can get really wet is when there's a strong wind blowing in over your shoulder and you have to stop. Though if I go out this weekend I might well have the full roof on! LEO 3eggs Another Slightly Vider SeVen
