  1. Had this on my car when I first got it, changed the gasket and still had a slight leak, it turned out to be the breather pipe, which was just pushed onto the plastic cam cover, I put a jubilee clip on it and no more leaks in the last 3 years
  2. Peter, yep they had the stud, the ones I used part no r3610.r008, hope that helps.
  3. After having the same problem with the linkages each year at the MOT, I replaced mine with these http://www.rod-ends.co.uk/ only changed them at the beggining of the year so don't know about long term wear, but they are much more substantial. All up it cost me about £75 so a bit more than the Caterham supplied ones, but I'm pretty sure they won't need changing for a good few years.

    Roadrunner

Was that you in the driving school car, going round the wheelbarrow roundabout at about 1.45 this afternoon. I was on the bike, hoping you were going to stop*yikes* as I've had several cars come straight out on that roundabout.
  6. If you'r worried about small light weight cars having no safety features, then why do you drive a Caterham and not something with air bags and crash protection If you add cages and other safety devices found on modern cars it makes the car heavy which kind of defeats the point 😬
  7. You do know that these cars don't melt in the rain, don't you 😬 😬 😬

Black with silver stripes, going up about 11.30. I think it was Malcom.
  9. Mine has been like that on some occasions, I adjusted the idle back up to 900rpm and it doesn't seem to do it any more.
  10. I might try that Ian, but I think I'm probably going to keep the anti roll bar, I'm looking at something like these here to replace the standard Caterham offering as they look a bit more substantial.http://www.springfixlinkages.com/img/products/normal/r3610r.jpg Edited by - steve m on 1 May 2014 17:48:04
  11. I've got the same problem Steven, even when I replaced them after an MOT advisory they still rattle. I'm going to see if I can get some sort of rose joint to replace the poor quality item that Caterham supply.
  12. If it could have been silver with stripes and black with stripes, just before 4 pm it was Martin and me on the way back from the Cattery.
  13. I did think that but It didn't have a spare, which I thought he had.
  14. Red with black stripe heading towards Paddock wood at 6pm.
  15. I'd have to say Silver with Black and Gold stripes is a much better combo 😬 😬 😬

    Booster seat?

How about one of these here it's what Kate uses in her kayak, seems like a quick easy solution for a moulded seat
  17. I fitted one of these here for my Gopo it's fitted under the dash in the passenger side, it lets me plug the camera and remote in.
  18. Can I ask what sort of mileage the cars have done that need repacking, as I have the older welded exhaust with over 36000 miles and it doesn't seem too noisy 😬
  19. If it was me I'd use one of these here and then finish the square end with a jigsaw or file.

    Go pro

As I remember with mine you don't need any leads, the app connects using the wireless setting on the camera.I found this here very helpful.
  21. Proxy spot by Kate at 11am on the A26 heading towards Tonbridge.
  22. Unusually for me Martin,I was actually working 😬 😬
  23. Wrapped up warm, around 8am in Bedford this morning
  24. If you're after new ones it might be worth finding out who supplies the bodies used by Premier power, they looked like a much better quality piece of kit to me.
