    Hi Paul, I will pass on your wishes. The oxted half hood arrived today. Excellent service from them I purchased the wrap/holder this fits to the roll bar and makes it very easy to deploy the roof. I can't wait to get the new roll bar fitted tomorrow and the red piping is very nice. Happy bunny. To keep it all looking smart I think I will go for a new boot cover. Longy

    It was a little pricey but the caterham item is well made and easy to fit complete with the loom etc. My best Christmas present from the wonderful Mrs Long Longy

    Well done for posting this. I have been thinking about how to make myself more comfortable in the left leg department. I had considered a small footrest but rejected this originally on tgr grounds that it may prove a hazard. Now I know others have made it work I will give it a go. I have found myself pulling my left leg back and the laying my knee against the tunnel. longy

    I haven't been here for some time but hey I've been busy. Scarlett was treated by my wonderful wife to a caterham high level brake kit for Christmas. What a fantastic surprise that was. I spent the day after boxing day fitting it. I found drilling three holes on the back panel of my car stressful to say the least but what a nice job in the end. I was also told a new FIA roll bar is on order. The brake light kit came without any instructions and my friend Nick sent me a pdf of the build manual which contains the fitting instructions. So next stop roll bar. Bring on summer.

    I recently had my cambelt changed at Premier Power by Stuart Cresswell (nice chap and a proper engine builder). He knows what he's doing and it took about 4 hours to change my belt. Incidentally if I had one of his engines in my car ( oh how much would I love one) it would take a mater of minutes apparently. For your information I paid £200 Including vat and parts for a very entertaining morning watching ( I did make the coffee and dish out the odd bikkie). I do all the other servicing on the seven with another seasoned expert. But I reckon you could do a lot more damage to your engine than £200 Imho it's an absolute bargain. Longy 😬
