  1. I used a cheap camping rollmat from tesco and stuck it on with araldite. Two years, sticky tyres, lots of miles and no cracks. Now just need to sort out the sides of the car as they look like they've been shot by a mad farmer!! Beaulieu #28
  2. *arrowup*Mine's exactly the same but eight years old now! Beaulieu #28
  3. Have you been along to the north east meet at the Church Mouse pub? Good opportunity to try different cars for size. Beaulieu #28

    A frame bushes

Normally just the central (2 x Y9) as these perish due to heat and oil from the diff. I've replaced mine about six times in 26000 miles and the outer bushes are still original and look new! Beaulieu #28

Ah, but there is the problem! Don't all Ital diffs leak a bit? Especially if slightly overfilled to keep the diff alive on track days. Beaulieu #28

I had to replace mine half way through our honeymoon tour of europe (3500 miles). I did mine on a beach, dug a pit as only had the normal jack!! Really easy job, change them before you go and then they may get you all the way around plus you'll know how to do it. Beaulieu #28
  12. Russ, do everything except the lifters, wouldn't be the same going on a blat without chitty chitty bang bang!!! 😳 Beaulieu #28
  13. What day are you going to the show Peter? I'm considering going on the Saturday and will be going in my pathfinder which should fit the cage in easily. Beaulieu #28
  14. I Meant to ask you about that one before. Was it a damp road, wet road or standing water? Concerned now as with my figure I obviously have far less weight pushing my rubber down onto the road!! 😬 Beaulieu #28
  15. Is that a good or bad fuuuuuuuuuuck Brian? Beaulieu #28
