I have a 1.6SS which had an anti-cav tank fitted earlier in the year. This came with a temp sender and I have occasionally monitored oil temp which has, in general, been at about 85/90. Oil pressure is fairly standard at 3 bar (driving) and just below 2 bar on idle (when warm).
In the last couple of days, the oil temp has been reading 100 and the pressure reduced (correspondingly I assume) to c2.5 bar (driving).
Since nothing in the car has apparently changed, could this be the result of the current high ambient temperatures. Or something more sinister?
