    Turning right at mini round about into Chaldon road. Full hood ( that must have been warm) with lady/ girl passenger. It was side on so Reg might have started with a T looked like T16ERL Andrew F

    Hi Oz One thing I have learned in the past year of ownership. TADTS- they all do that sir 6 speed boxes do this and if you have no more than a drip or 2, or a 10p piece size ring on the ground every week or so, then I am reliably informed you will be wasting your time replacing the seal. Just keep topping it up every year. Andrew F

    Spotted this afternoon on the M40 towards London in his Aston Martin Rapide (chairmans perk?). 1 DPR in green was travelling FAST on outside lane, i guess he had just left Prodrive. First time I've seen the 4 door Rapide and from the 2 second glimpse I got (boy he was shifting) it looks better than that 4 door Porsche. Andrew F

    Changed my 14" minilites a year ago on to A021R. Sure footed in the wet, and soft & sticky enough in the dry. A good all-round tyre. Andrew F

    Chris In response to your second question, definitely change the water pump. For the sake of £40-50 its an ideal time to replace, with the cam belt cover off. Plus also consider changing water hoses to Silicone at the same time. Andrew F

    Hi Ian, thought you might be monitoring the blatwaves. Just finished puttting it all back together and they work now. Good, but worrying. Not sure if it's a loose wire and have moved it, or I have just tightened up what was loose. Just need to pass MOT tomorrow, then I will keep an eye out for any loose wires over winter. Andrew F

    Many thanks. I will check, but the earth wire looks ok. Am currently stripping down that rear light cluster and wiring. Andrew F

    Update: it's not my mod. Just disconnected the 3rd brake light loom. And same thing happens. Andrew F

    Mot tomorrow and checking the lights, found that the 3rd brake light mod i did a few weeks ago has an issue. Used caterham loom, but when side lights are on and brake applied all the drivers side rear brake and side lights fail to iluminate. When side lights are off, no problem all 3 brake lights work. Help. Andrew F
