  1. Useful info: http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-fitment-type/parts-by-engine-ford.html
  2. Bit of info here: http://www.our-nest.co.uk/Caterham/html_files/2002_ford_axle.htm
  3. Hi, Revising a slightly older thread, but can anyone point me at some info of the Pace system? A friend has a box of bits, bought years ago, but I don't think he has a replacement sump pan - I presume it needs a new sump pan? If so, which one (what with the Caterham supply issues) Thanks, Phil
  4. Going to do some rear Fog/Reversing - Don't have a price just yet, but they are a bit more complicated to make. Any interest (not a lot on Facebook, so I'm not offended). I'm getting polished S/Steel for mine, but had a black sample one done to check the fit/sizes. Bit more complicated to fit as one of the wires is riveted to the bulb holder and will need to be cut-re-made). Just trying to gauge interest at the moment... Will only go on the rear panel as the back is open http://www.our-nest.co.uk/Temp/Light%20Blocks/Rear%20Light%20Block%201.jpg Angled to match rear panel http://www.our-nest.co.uk/Temp/Light%20Blocks/Rear%20Light%20Block%202.jpg
  5. That's right - they are a flat beam pattern, so not handed.
  6. I did have to adjust the ring on the head lamp to allow it to fit - only about 1mm on the diameter. Have some further pictures: https://goo.gl/photos/a3hTuSVdmXwsWPYV6 Good luck with the delivery date and enjoy the build!
  7. Diodes are easy, they are simply a one way valve for electricity. The only tricky bit is picking one big enough - I used a 100V 5A unit which has been fine. They just control the direction of current flow so you can have a couple of wires connected, but power doesn't flow back down wires you don't want it to (like back towards the rear lights or to the ignition from the side lights in this case). Happy to help if advise is wanted - it's a very simple circuit and I've just soldered them inline with the wires I've added. Phil
  8. Hi Andy, I do have some - I had a small batch made (10 pairs) but I haven't advertised them yet (too busy), as I'd had a couple of requests. You are welcome to a set. If you PM me we can sort things out - but I've started a new online spreadsheet that I will keep up to date and also has payment details on (if using Paypal, please do a friend payment) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OQKxHGLwm4MaCi6FOMfeUhLcBBhPjQ-L2AMAm-8d93U/edit?usp=sharing Phil
  9. Cookie Monster - http://www.our-nest.co.uk/Temp/Headlights/Indicator%20Left.JPG Tom - They are not on in the pictures, they are just picking up on the nearby light. I haven't removed them, but will do this winter (as well as lowering the lights). The trouble is the mount covers the wiring, so I need to do something there. I also wanted to wait until it had had passed an MOT.
  10. Nothing that you can compare with, no, sorry. It is a much whiter light than my old 'std' bulbs, and they are a lot brighter.
  11. I've fitted those from the original post. I'm happy with them. One thing you need to understand is that the indicators don't work unless you supply the halo all the time - i.e. if you don't run the halo, you don't get the indicators. I decided to run them, and this means you need an ignition feed to the light. Then, in order to stop the rear lights coming on with just the ignition I put a diode in the feed from the light ciruit. A second diode was fitted in the ignition feed so that the side light switch didn't power the ECU. Pictures: http://www.our-nest.co.uk/Temp/Headlights/
  12. You can get pretty close by measuring the spring and using a calculator: http://www.acxesspring.com/spring-calculator.html You'll need the wire Ø, Free Length, Outside Ø of the coil and the number of active coils (i.e number of full coils) Phil
  13. Adil, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fr6_3eBoNL78HYVOYL0787FkJiCS5HmURMjNLRCyhMI/edit?usp=sharing Payment details are on that spreadsheet Phil

  21. Hi Julian, Email on its way to you
  22. All units shipped yesterday - might have to avoid my little local shop for a few days!! If they managed to process them they'll have gone last night, but I suspect some might not leave till today due to the quantity - I'm popping back in later to pay, can't beat that service!! Just hope you are all happy. I have given the stainless steel ones a quick clean up, but they would probably benefit with a bit more time being spent. Any issues, give me a shout. Going for a lay down in a dark room! I do have some spares from initial people not paying, so if you are interested - best to message me as the email will alert me.
