I ended up superglueing the washers for the top mount together to make it easier to get them in.

OK - many thanks. As it was a bit of a struggle to get the bolts/washers in by myself, I was a bit reluctant to take it all to bits again. However, having just tried it again, it was much easier second time around.

I attempted to record the washers as they came out, but found an additional one on the floor - not sure which side it came from !

I am refitting the Serra diff back into my 2003 ex Academy car, following a Titan LSD rebuild. Question is about centralising the diff. The build manual suggests that the diff to chassis rail distances should be the same to within 2mm. How critical is this? Thanks for any input! Paul

Bec and myself in. (Payment taken, so we assume so!) Wasn't sure about the dual drive check box ' out of batch(driving second) ' I assumed that I would be driving out of batch and Bec in batch, so I ticked the box. Sure we can change it later if wrong. P&B

I am having my plumbed in extinguisher serviced by a local company next month - cost about £25 a couple of years ago. I am also of the opinion that having something is better than nothing! P

The Caterhams are very keen - most classes have very few or no entries yet. We have got 18 already for Sunday! P&B

For my last 2 sets, I have taken my wheels over to George Polley Motorsport near March in Cambridgeshire. For the last set, their fitting/balancing costs were much cheaper than anywhere I could find locally. As I don't use the car much on the road, I also got them to shave a few mm off the surface so they were ready for competition use (probably made no difference, but made me feel better!) Paul

We support the proposed dual drive change, and it would be even better with the faster driver running in class - assigning the slower dual driver a higher number would ensure they ran at the end of the class. We would agree with Debbie's sentiment with regarding the scoring of the Ladies Championship, and have never really understood the rationale behind the current scoring system. Perhaps this decision should be passed over to the Ladies in the Championship. Paul and Bec
