Good close competition and plenty of banter in Class 1 at both Llandow and Llys y fran over the weekend with Rich smashing the Class 1 record at Llys y Fran yesterday

Thanks Richard, i have had a brief look at them and still have a number of questions around comfort/padding, angle and ease of use. With a few more in the paddock this year i will be able to see how they work in practice.

Please can i ask a couple of questions from those who have the Simpson Hybrid FHR 1) Can you sit in the car and fasten your harness before putting on your helmet and then attach the Hybrid FHR to your helmet? Likewise can you detach the Hybrid FHR from your helmet and remove your helmet whilst keeping your harness fastened? 2) What are the advantages of the quick release tethers ? Thanks Clive

Longton Regs 4.3.2. states that ....... A minimum of two timed runs will be available, unless special circumstances dictate otherwise. The number of timed runs will be advised on the day by the Clerk of Course, depending on relevant circumstances. Notwithstanding the entry being too big in the first place, I am concerned that following an unsatisfactory Saturday, on Sunday at the drivers briefing they still believed and we were advised that there would be 2 practice runs followed by 2 timed runs.
